Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
City we definitely don't want.
I've just updated the draw numbers to remove 'Or Liverpool' from number 14.

Leicester City at home would be a good test & interesting tie.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
God no, the last one we want.
If we do both get through and are drawn against each other, it will mean one of us gets to the sixth round which will mean the league game being rearranged for midweek.

Decent chance of the replay being televised.
Sunderland v Fulham will be top choice, they love a giant killing but nowt special after that.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
I want the league game to get put back - more chance of being able to clinch promotion or League title at Ewood if it’s later in the season.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 5:02 pmGod no, the last one we want.

Fleetwood v Sheff Wednesday would probably be picked before us, IMO.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 5:25 pmDecent chance of the replay being televised.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
I'll take us beating Rovers twice this season, we don't need to beat them a third time.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
6 8 9 11 or. 13 at home and save the prem boys for the quarter final. A Manchester derby would be good and Brighton v Spurs. After that only 2 teams I’d hope to avoid, those two game winners. My Brighton and Burnley bets might have some mileage in them yet.
Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Just watched the bit about the Wrexham pub. Maybe The Royal Dyche should be changed to Good Kompany.
Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Get in!
Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Nice one. They’ve deserved that.

Wrexham level
Good amount of pressure on the goal has paid off

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
We don’t need Wrexham, thankyou very much.
Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Did anyone see Rhian Brewster during the sending off? Didn’t know what to make of him to be honest.
Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
This game is begging for a last minute winner.
Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
I think it's you Tony who's pointed out previously we haven't actually played them in cups as many times as people think, but the blow outs obviously stick in people's minds.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 3:26 pmCity we definitely don't want.

Might be different with the current set up but still wouldn't want to draw em.Especially away...

The only perfect draw left there is Bristol City at home.

Grimsby-Luton much more likely, or after today Sheff Utd-Wrexham.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 5:25 pmDecent chance of the replay being televised.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
No guarantee we'll beat Ipswich, however in the event that we do Leicester or Southampton at home would be dandy, failing that Bristol City or one of the lower division sides at home or away.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Venkys 11 at home would be perfect, with the added bonus of not having to go there on a Sunday morning. Much prefer to go midweek.
Failing that then Grimsby at home the other low ranked team left in.

Based on the two draws we’ve had so far, I’ll predict we’ll be away at Brighton or Southampton.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 3:20 pmDraw tomorrow on The One Show from 7 p.m.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
4 v 9 but Birmingham will get through.
Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Looking at that list, a Manchester derby and the cup is very much open. I’d fancy our chances against any of the rest home or away tbh

Anything other than 12 away please, preferably a home tie though.

We'll be unlucky and draw 13
