Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Was getting worried towards the end there with us and Man City still not drawn out of the bowl.
Home v Sheff W or Fleetwood isnt at all bad- IF we get past Ipswich.

Be disappointing if we don't get through these 2 games. Nothings a given, but if we take it serious it shouldn't be a problem.

Excellent draw.
Good incentive to do the business in the reply. Fantastic opportunity to get to the quarter finals.

Beat two league one sides at home and we’re in the quarter finals, one game away from Wembley. Please give this competition your all Burnley!

Very relieved that we don't have to go to Hillsborough.
Hopefully get the job done at home.
(I'm not taking it for granted that we will beat Ipswich though)

Fantastic draw. Home tie. Sheff Weds (if it’s them) will sell out etc.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Heart in mouth. Was worried for a moment it would be man u away again! In the end excellent draw, potentially a chance for belated revenge against sheff. Wednesday in 6th round after losing at the same stage in a replay in 1983.
Oh, actually it’s not 6th is it? 5th round should be.

It'll be our own silly fault now if we don't make it to the quarters.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
It would probably have been the tie I'd have picked if I could have reached into the bag
and drew the balls meself.

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Of course not you fool it's because Peacock-Farrell can't hardly pick out a pass and the defence is under more pressure and Muric also starts so many attacks, if Muric played on Saturday we win that game easy

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Ours is the only tie in the 5th round that doesn't include a Premier League club

Also, hopefully Blackburn will be knocked out soon, if not against Birmingham, then certainly at Leicester away!

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
**** off about Muric and his passing. He plays as many poor passes as he does good but his fan club totally blind spot them. BPF did absolutely nothing wrong on Saturday both with hands and feet but the usual suspects on the MDT were slagging him off before HT. That’s the sort of support our players get from some.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 7:33 pmNo because Peacock-Farrell can't hardly pick out a pass and the defence is under more pressure and Muric also starts so many attacks, Muric in on Saturday and we win that game easy

Re: FA Cup 5th round draw thread
Why is this? (I assume it's because there are very few lower league clubs left and they are the ones to mainly benefit from replays)
And why are there now no replays in the EFL cup, but 2 legs in the semis?
Seems a bit random and non-sensical to me
Someone please enlighten me

Was BPF not in nets when we scored 4 away at a Premier League club?AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Mon Jan 30, 2023 7:33 pmOf course not you fool it's because Peacock-Farrell can't hardly pick out a pass and the defence is under more pressure and Muric also starts so many attacks, if Muric played on Saturday we win that game easy
