I love how the statement says "the deadline for submission was late".
Er, no, the deadline stayed where it was, your application was late.

Wonder who the ambitious target was? Not Ronaldinho again?

Re: What a pity
The Nixon article is pure comedy gold. Their 2 leading administrative staff were at the cup replay while their transfer was ‘happening’

Re: What a pity
like I said elsewhere, Forest signed players for fun with zero thought and now they are screwing their players over, makes them and in particular Cooper look like an absolute ******. I hope they drop
Re: What a pity
The Deadline still applies at Deadwood

Just imagine the appeal, a bribe of 10 pictures of a sweaty Red Rum and a freezer full of chicken.

Re: What a pity
I don’t think it’s fair to blame Forest. They had to name their 25 man Premier League squad for the rest of the season today and they were assuming O’Brien wouldn’t be a part of it. Simone else would have had to drop out to put him back in.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 9:42 pmlike I said elsewhere, Forest signed players for fun with zero thought and now they are screwing their players over, makes them and in particular Cooper look like an absolute ******. Re: What a pity
Don’t understand. First Nixon said it was a loan, then he says it was a £10m transfer, which itself raise a few questions, like where have Rovers suddenly got that kind of money from, and why are Forest letting him go if he’s that good.
Also, clubs have the whole of January to sort this stuff out. They can hardly moan if they leave it to the last minute.

Re: What a pity
they signed him in the summer, hardly played him, knew if they signed Ayew and his deal to Rovers fell through he wouldn't be in the squad, that makes Forest 100% at fault - that is not how you treat people unless you are a ****

Re: What a pity
it was a loan with a 10 million fee IF Rovers get promoted this season.........scouseclaret wrote: ↑Thu Feb 02, 2023 11:37 pmDon’t understand. Re: What a pity
How was it "potentially the biggest transfer of the EFL?" Thought that was Lyle Foster?? I suppose it matters not, hilarious either way.
Re: What a pity
Rovers **** going into Fantasy Land thinking their phantom signings were going to get them to the land of milk,& honey ,Florist putting the blame firmly on to Rovers.

Re: What a pity
Also they have a problem still playing BBD, as he ain’t gonna give it the full Bifta knowing he doesn’t want to risk injury, as he ain’t gonna be there next season.
