Re: Blackpool away
Can see these selling out at either the 2000 or 4000 points level then a demand for a change in the system

Had there been trains running that day I would have said the same. Some have said replacement bus is a ballache and 2 hours each way is a bit much to get to Blackpool

I live in NW Preston, so it’s like a home game for me. Nearer than the Turf. IF I get my ticket.

There will be plenty there with tickets who have considerably less than 6000 points.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 11:54 amI think it'll sell out on day one to the 6k points group

Re: Blackpool away
Well it’s time they started selling them by their own criteria. What’s the point of rewarding “loyalty”, if they don’t stick to it, and you can get tickets cos of who you know int club shop. Joke.

Re: Blackpool away
The train situation is a pain. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets to season ticket holders.

It'll be people using family and friends season tickets who have enough points but can't or don't go.
No way around it unless they do spot checks at the away turnstiles which I highly doubt they would

It happens at every club the land over.
Double edged sword, you’re not building your own points by using others numbers.

Don’t have a problem with people using others season card for loyalty points and getting a ticket. There’s loads of people who know club staff etc who get them, and that is just wrong. Why have a system in place, then not use it. As I stated before , joke. And I will get a ticket. Just feel for those who have the required 6000 points, who may not.

Anyone with 6000 points won't be seen dead in a tacky seaside town, upto the commoners to sell this one out.
Re: Blackpool away
Think we're staying over now so if a few don't get tickets it's no big deal, can just stay in pub.

Re: Blackpool away
How??
Re: Blackpool away
Last season Blackpool and Preston did a tit-for-tat ticket allocation for both of the games with a reduced number of tickets. They musn't get on with one another?HuncoatClaret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 12:40 pmLeisure post_id=2013249 time=1675424751 user_id=69]3500. Monday.

Re: Blackpool away
Just find somebody with enough points who doesn't want to go. My Dad's had a season ticket for years but isn't bothered about away games anymore.

Re: Blackpool away
Everyone does it. The big clubs where they have waiting lists for tickets etc some folk buy away tickets for every game just so they get to go to the ones they want to. My mate gets Everton tickets off an old bloke who’s not keen on always going but wants to keep his access to tickets.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 3:33 pmHow can they call them loyalty points if you can give the away
Re: Blackpool away
Haha. We missed out on tickets as well Now we have an extra game against the team that if it was away would be just over a mile from the doorstep, but it's at home... so over 40 miles away
