PFA awards?

Post by Tricky Trevor » Sun Feb 05, 2023 10:34 am

With the outstanding season we are having almost all our side are in the running for the team of the year. My question is who do you think will make it and who are the best of the rest that will keep our guys out.
IMO: Muric, THB, Maatsen, Cork, Brownhill, Benson and Zaroury should be shoe-ins.
Bachmann is the best keeper but with the plaudits Arno is getting I believe he’ll take the spot.
Roberts has been the best RB post world cup but his early season form and being in and out of the side could go against him. Bogle is best of the rest.
Beyer has been superb but we can’t be too greedy. Egan will possibly take it.
Too many decent midfielders to choose from so I’ll leave it.
Gyokeres was the best striker pre-Xmas but Akpom is on fire now, it’ll be close.

Throw your own thoughts up because I will have forgotten some good uns.

Sander Berge and Norwood from Sheff U will be heavily nominated I would say.

Scott at Bristol City is a massive talent as well.

I think we will struggle. Zaroury maybe. The rest? Could end up with 3 or 4 or none!
