Traffic/Road closures after Tuesday night’s game
Traffic/Road closures after Tuesday night’s game
Hi all, I’ve just been asked to post this to pre warn those who will be driving this way after the game on Tuesday night:
We have just come on the m65 at Hapton and noticed that junction is shut on Tuesday night from 9pm , as is the slip road from the end of the Haslingden by pass onto the m65 at shuttle worth mead and also Gannow top junction is closed. Sounds like traffic mayhem after the match.

Not traffic, but on foot outside the ground, note there is no pavement now on Harry Potts Way on the side across from the ground, Work has started on Town2Turf.

Can there not be some common sense and delay the road shutting from 9pm to 11pm?

Lancs County Council it is yeah, in tandem with Highways Agency. But they don’t give a **** anyway, roads closed, and no one working on em. Same all over country. Joke.

Just Highways Agency I think, but I do agree with all your points.

Going to be busy over the top to Rawtenstall then instead of the usual almost clear run.

To be pedantic, The stretch of road from the m65 to Haslingden ( rising bridge) is the Accrington by-pass.burnmark wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 11:25 amHi all, I’ve just been asked to post this to pre warn those who will be driving this way after the game on Tuesday night:

From rising bridge to the M66 that stretch is the Haslingden by-pass because it does actually by-pass Haslingden.
