Been very annoying this season that prices and allocation haven't been released earlier. Makes it very difficult to collect cash off people and secure tickets on release day.

That was the initial allocation and they asked for more but that request was refused.

That's interesting Leisure - I think it was Stoke who asked for increases twice and got them but their total was less than 3,000.

Wonder how many more 6,000 point holders there are given 23/24 season ticket loyalty points have been allocated.

Not sure exactly what time the club put that info out but I went and changed the allocation at that point and posted it on here - that was timed at 8:51 p.m.

Yep, three of the four blocks almost sold out, the final block starting to disappear quickly.

Flying out.

It wouldn't let me buy an U18 ticket at the right price at first. Ended up buying my 7th choice seats eventually.

Different blocks have been added as the sales continued.
If you check Blackpool's seating plan there are 7 or 8 blocks in that stand although the blocks at each end might be kept empty for segregation.

Go on then, what’s your solution?

With an allocation of 3474 nobody who goes to every away game is likely to miss out as they will have the requisite loyalty points.

Got ours in block EB - seat selection looked insane, I was on at 10am on the dot and more than half the block was already gone. Whilst this was always going to be another sellout, it's brilliant seeing the enthusiasm this season.

It’s 10 points for an away game, 350 (ish) points for a season ticket.

Got a text message from a p****d off son because he's got 4500 points, and I've got 9700 points

Mean I can go, but he can't

I feel for him, but I don't know what the alternative is that would work

I could only get two tickets so have bought for my lads while I search for a 3rd.

They might think it's a nice gesture until they realise they will have to pay for their own day out if I'm not there.

It should be more for an away game. I’d thought you may have been able to work that out. Season ticket holder who rarely go to any away games can collect their points and cherry pick their games when they suddenly decide they fancy it.

This has been done to death over the years, somebody buying tickets for home games puts money into the club, an away supporter doesn't except for any handling charges they may get from the opposition.

But it could be argued they put more money into our club.

At 3500 tickets it shouldn’t be too hard to pick one up tbf

"LOYALTY POINT'S" That are rightly earned by loyal fans that have had season tickets for years and followed the club up and down the land should have priority, but fan's using relatives and friends points shouldn't, the club doesn't help itself like today for example by putting on tickets on sale to under 9's with 6k points knowing that's impossible for someone so young to have that amount

The club get all the money from ST sales.
They only get a percentage of any away ticket sales, couple that with away 'fans' who are just wanting to pick up a game of football. Not likely this season, but in plenty of years gone by, when we didn't sell our allocation, it happens.
There has to be a system, and no system is going to please everybody, just accept it's the best of a lot of imperfect options.

I thought you said before you have over 6000 points so I'm not sure why its upsetting you so much on the majority of away ticket threads.

What has me having almost 10k points got to do with I personally think the loyalty points system is wrong when non loyalty points holders getting tickets through friends and relatives, I'm ****** off at the amount of under 17 year old that will be there that don't have 6k points

Something HAS to be done about this situation. When children get season tickets they start from Zero points so how on earth are they supposed to build them up quickly enough to get a ticket for an away game? Adults can get tickets because we're on 9/10/11k points but the kids can't. So either they can't go or they have to use someone else's loyalty points meaning they can't build their own points up. It could also technically be seen as a safeguarding issue - adults can get their tickets but the child has to get their's at a later date and sit on their own (I know an adult could and obviously would take the lone seat - but that's not the point).

The problem is, I don't know how it can be resolved. If kids were allowed to go to away games no matter their loyalty points total if accompanied by an adult with the required points - this would just be abused even more by adults.

The blocks shown on the BFC site show tickets in EB EC ED EE EF EH non in EA or EG yet, surley that whole side holds more than 3.5k
