Gutted for them
Wrexham should have won the first fixture. They blew their chances, no missing the pen. Rooting for them, but they've had their chances and it could bite them

Do the subs perhaps give us some idea of who is starting in the wide positions against Preston (i.e, Zaroury and JBG and returning to the Cullen, Cork, Brownhill three)?

Not sure what to make of Bastien and Twine. They do look short of confidence and clearly lacking rhythm, but as the saying goes, you have to take your chances when they come and they haven’t along with a few others tbh.

Cork seems off it lately. I liked the Brownhill/Cullen pivot at Norwich and in other games. PNE will defend deep, would prefer an extra creator in there (JBG).

Churlinov looking lively according to BBC Suffolk.

Also said it was a definite foul and probable booking they got away with.

Twine did against West Brom, however I understand your point.

Very surprised and disappointed that Dyche-Cup is back.

Not so much a few changes, more the lack of interest in playing our main forwards once the game gets hairy. No Zaroury a surprise. The subs we made were very late.

Hopefully we win anyway but it does sound like we aren’t too bothered if we win or not. Which is disappointing given the route to Wembley opens up.
