To be fair most of them couldn't buy a seat in there. In my opinion very poor decision making by the Club.

The Burnley FC Supporters Groups have contacted the Club to express our concern that the Club didn't put out any information as to what the ticketing situation was going to be in the CF. A very poor way to treat fans.

Re: Cricket Field Stand Tonight
What on earth were they hoping to achieve by only allowing the three end blocks to be used by home supporters?
Surely a better decision would have been to close it to home supporters entirely?
Sometimes our club is so tin pot it beggars belief.

Was completely pointless opening that tiny section for Burnley fans.

This is the very reason three of us boycotted the game because of the lack of respect in not putting any information out about us not being able to pick our normal season ticket seat's, even the fact the small amount of ticket's available in there wasn't put out you had to buy inperson or over the phone, people only found out through forums like this via word of mouth.
Fleetwood fan's shouldn't be put in there for the game with all the fans behind the goal and the best acoustics they should go in the Bob Lord or the James Hargreaves lower

When Steve Cotterell was manager he couldn't understand why the club didn't dedicated the whole goal stand to home fans

Bob Lord holds around 4k the Fleetwood fans will be offered 15% so about 3.3k, just stick them all in the Bob Lord with no acoustics for the away fans to be heard

I can see why you didn't get a Blackpool ticket with that kind of attitudeAGENT_CLARET wrote: βWed Feb 08, 2023 7:50 amThis is the very reason three of us boycotted the game because of the lack of respect in not putting any information out about us not being able to pick our normal season ticket seat's, even the fact the small amount of ticket's available in there wasn't put out you had to buy inperson or over the phone, people only found out through forums like this via word of mouth.

Yes, we have to offer them 3000 but the point I was making was that he's happy for all the BL ST holders to be kicked out of their seats, when at the same time objecting to CF stand ST holders being kicked out of theirs.Lancasterclaret wrote: βWed Feb 08, 2023 9:50 amHaven't we not got a choice, we have to offer most of the CF to Fleetwood due to FA Cup rules?

Re: Cricket Field Stand Tonight
But there isn't anything we can do
We have to give up a certain % and the away end is the CF so.....
Best bet would be to make the tickets for this one as cheap as chips, so Turf Moor is as full as it can be (you'd hope we'd be able to sell out and they should)
Re: Cricket Field Stand Tonight
pathetic keeping rival fans so far apart, no banter no atmosphere.
should of been a fiver a ticket, quid for kids and filled the ground. this would made it a proper cup tie atmosphere

The BLS holds considerably less than 4k. I think it holds under 3k believe it or not.AGENT_CLARET wrote: βWed Feb 08, 2023 8:59 amBob Lord holds around 4k the Fleetwood fans will be offered 15% so about 3.3k, just stick them all in the Bob Lord with no acoustics for the away fans to be heard

Re: Cricket Field Stand Tonight
Dies it really matter that much ! We are top of the league and in the FA Cup 5th round. Logistically there is no way the club are going to do something as radical as changing the away end and evicting the BL fans . Weβre obliged to give Fleetwood their 3.3k or whatever so letβs just get on with it and beat them .

If it was as a result of what happened at the Crawley match, I'd consider it a warning about future behaviour.

Aye, use the BL stand for away supporters
Re: Cricket Field Stand Tonight
There are certain rules for pricing, I am sure.
The match was very cheap for fans.

Re: Cricket Field Stand Tonight
Ok, just so weβre clear. Itβs ok to turf out season ticket holders in the CFS but not anywhere else in the ground? Is that what people think?
Itβs wrong to not inform any fans they canβt have their seat for cup games, but just because CFS is cheap seats - donβt treat us as second rate fans

Re: Cricket Field Stand Tonight
Because someone suggested giving the whole of the BL stand to away fans, which is totally unrealistic. In the CFS however, which is partly the away end anyway, the FA rules stated that a per centage had to be given over which meant some people would be inconvenienced. Plenty of folk did get a seat in the CFS last night, even if it wasn't their regular one. I'm sure you could have done too, if you were that bothered about seeing the game.AGENT_CLARET wrote: βWed Feb 08, 2023 1:40 pmPlease explain to me why you think its not right to move people out of the Bob Lond but it's okay in the cfs
Re: Cricket Field Stand Tonight
Entering and exiting would be problematic for a start. Our manager, coaching staff and players on the bench would get plenty of verbal abuse. Away supporters shouldn't get the best view.AGENT_CLARET wrote: βWed Feb 08, 2023 1:40 pmPlease explain to me why you think its not right to move people out of the Bob Lond but it's okay in the cfs

"Plenty of folk did get a seat" there was around 500 Burnley fan's in there last night and that tells you everything
