Shirt sale?
Does anyone know if/when the sale of home/away kit will start? It’s usually not much after Xmas but seem to remember that it was later last year? Cheers

Re: Shirt sale?
Sooner the better for me. It would mean the end for this car crash of a shirt.
Yep, I know it’s been a best seller, but it’s bloody awful imo.
Let’s get back to summat reyt. If they wanna go down the retro route, how about a modern take on the spectacularly groundbreaking ‘76 V shirt next time please?

Re: Shirt sale?
Although an iconic shirt, we'd barely sell any v necks in that style. It's a very boring shirt just like the claret we blue sleeves became year on year.bobinho wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 5:12 pmSooner the better for me. It would mean the end for this car crash of a shirt.

If we keep the colours I'm all for trying any style, the club/umbro have absolutely nailed it this year proven by sales

Re: Shirt sale?
I'm not really on about V necks, I meant the shirt with the big massive V in blue on the front that went from one shoulder down to the sternum area then back up to the other shoulder. When that was unveiled it was groundbreaking. Still looks great today, and I reckon a modern version would look great.

Cheapest these will go on here
Re: Shirt sale?
OK with v necks it's collars I find old fashioned.
A re-do of the V shirt would be good though and the one before it even better.

Re: Shirt sale?
Shirts normally go half price after Xmas because not many more usually get sold after that, with a good chance of the club getting lumbered with lots of stock.
So they have either got a deal with Classic Football shirts to take all remaining stock to sell or we might be keeping the shirt for another year?
There haven't been many deals on offer for fans since the new owners have come in.

Or they might not actually have a huge amount of stock left tbf, I’ll bet they’ve sold well all year. Like you say though, I bet classic football shirts will happily take themQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 7:27 amShirts normally go half price after Xmas because not many more usually get sold after that, with a good chance of the club getting lumbered with lots of stock.
