Leeds/Man U
Usually a bit tasty this fixture.
Pity they can't both lose...
Great chance for DL in the 3rd min.

Leeds defeat all day long. Be hilarious to see them relegated

Re: Leeds/Man U
What a poor match. 30 minutes in and they are both shocking.
Weghorst had two passes to feet. They mustn’t like the guy.

Re: Leeds/Man U
Leeds have 30% possession and a pass completion rate of 71%. Very poor.

Re: Leeds/Man U
Man Utd look awful.
They can't carry the ball, can't beat a man, can't put a cross in, can't play the simplest of passes.
They make us look brilliant. Different levels I know, but they just have to be capable of better than this.

Man U will improve again once they take Weggy off.

United fans on Twitter saying problem the with Weghost is the service, the system and his team mates.
How has he convinced the world he is an amazing footballer, it's everything around him that lets him down.

Neither of today’s premier league games on Peacock in the USA. And yet they have an exclusive, are supposed to show all games, and are not showing either. It’s not as if it clashes with Superbowl, which is eight hours from now
I’ll have to watch England vs Italy instead

Stupid question. Why are they playing each other twice in a week?

Re: Leeds/Man U
1st game was rearranged due to the Queen's death, it does seem bizarre for them to meet twice in the space of a few days though, but I guess particularly given Man Utd's heavy schedule there wasn't many spare dates to squeeze the games into.

Don't get the fraudster thing. What has he done that is fraudulent? Isn't he just trying to play football to the best of his ability?

We got back to the local (Maypole Inn) last evening after the game ... A couple staying at the pub (Manure Fan and wife) asking if we could "please recall Weggy cos he is **** " ...Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 2:31 pmWhat a poor match. 30 minutes in and they are both shocking.

Needless to say we said we hope Man U buy him because we don't want him

Re: Leeds/Man U
Man Utd are trying to play out the back like we do but the are just so slow! Watching McGuire on the ball is painful
Re: Leeds/Man U
De Gea is really poor on the ball for it. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a new keeper there in the summer.Burnley Ace wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 3:25 pmMan Utd are trying to play out the back like we do but the are just so slow! Watching McGuire on the ball is painful

It’s hard to exaggerate just how bad Maguire has been on the ball today.

Re: Leeds/Man U
Even his simple passes that reach a team mate are placed between their feet and at an awkward pace. Looks like he’s forgotten how to play football.

Yeah he’s been the biggest culprit for Man Utd not being able to cross the half way line.simonclaret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 3:38 pmSlows the game down to a snail's pace too. Fine if you're winning...

Think Leeds have had it this year, don't see where the goals are going to come from.
Re: Leeds/Man U
Big City. Tiny club no matter how hard they try. Bit like Wigan it’s a Rugby town ( or city in Leeds case )

Leeds with a 67% pass success. Terrible.
Re: Leeds/Man U
Looking at their next lot of fixtures. Everton away and then Southampton at home.
But they then have Fulham, Chelsea, Brighton, Wolves, Arsenal, Palace, Liverpool, Fulham.

Re: Leeds/Man U
I actually don’t think you are far off TT. I’ve watched all their games with Weggy featuring and the number of times he is “chosen” as the player to receive a pass is few at best. He feeds off second balls. I actually think they don’t like him, or at least don’t trust himTricky Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 2:31 pmWhat a poor match. 30 minutes in and they are both shocking.
