Not a photo but there are so many ornithologists on this thread I thought it was the best spot for it. Amazing.

We left Southampton on P&O's Cruise ship Oriana bound for the Med a few years ago.
There was a buzzard perched on a pole on the side of the funnel on the 1st day out ... He/she was still there on 2nd day (the bar men in the deckbar said they kept getting food up on the roof of the bar for it) and it became quite the celebrity on board ... on the 4th day we docked in Cadiz and the Buzzard left ... it was the talk of the ship how it had cadged a lift down to Spain for a Holiday...

Shire Cruisers, Sowerby Bridge - Great idea for a few days break in Spring/Summer, Hebden Bridge is just a short cruise away and some excellent walks in the surrounding countryside. The pubs in Sowerby are very good too.

I thought there was a lot of "activity" in my little garden pond last week; a bit late this year.

Just back from a few days in Sardinia. The highlight being this little fella, unbelievably brave for a shy creature. Sat at a bar with us for half an hour or more.

Nothing special but I went for a walk this morning and on the way back home I thought about Jimmy Greaves and it being like Brigadoon coming in on this road. This is what Greavsie would have seen this morning.

I'm struggling to post pics on the site. Is there a limit on the file size? I've been using a Google Pixel 6 as my camera and after editing the file size seems to be fairly big. When I try to attach the pics I get an error message.
Any help would be much appreciated
