BigGaz,

I was in contact with her a week or two back.
Price being quoted for the dedicated away hospitality was £170 plus VAT (half price for juniors). Not sure if the pricing has altered with the move to mid-week

It’s half price for kids.
There were about 100 places left in it a couple of days ago (from around 300 spots in their total).

Must be a decent meal if you are paying over 200 quid for a bog standard seat in the away end.

Isn't it behind the glass the away hospitality at Ewood in the Darwen End behind the away fans?

Wont be paying 2 ton to watch a game in their lounges. They're worse than the longside used to be before it was done up

Re: Ewood tickets
Just had a message from a Rovers supporter saying we're getting 2500 tickets in the top tier. Police haven't the man power for the full allocation and are scared of pitch invasions with so much riding on the game.
It came from a good source. I presume 400 of them tickets will be corporate though. (Only my guess)
Nothing new apart from upper tier bit, but it reaffirms it from earlier posts.

Re: Ewood tickets
It's got absolutely nothing to do with police man power at all, infact they have said they'd police 7k plus clarets, I was told on Wednesday the club are getting 2,300 tickets including hospitality so knock those off and the one's that go to club official's, staff and Family and they'll lucky if 1,900 are sold to fan's on the day, these will be sold in under an hr.
The Police and Burnley Football Club have tried for over a week to get the ticket number up but Blackburn are acting on Blackburn fan pressure not to give us big number's like they were going to do originally, the police said to the club if 7k was given then police resources would match this but if only 2,300 is given then police resources will only match this despite them warning Blackburn that they believe a good a few thousand will turn up without tickets and the police won't have enough man power, Blackburn ignored this concern despite pleas from Both Burnley and the police, so it's 2,300 including hospitality.
A ridiculous decision by Blackburn football club that could end up causing more trouble outside the ground on match day

Re: Ewood tickets
Rovers might be trying to blame the Police for low tickets then, as it's come from their club and he doubled down on it being the Police.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:20 pmIt's got absolutely nothing to do with police man power at all, infact they have said they'd police 7k plus clarets, I was told on Wednesday the club are getting 2,300 tickets including hospitality so knock those off and the one's that go to club official's, staff and Family and they'll lucky if 1,900 are sold to fan's on the day, these will be sold in under an hr.

They really are a joke of a club. They're currently selling home tickets for £10 to try and get some fans in even though they've been in and around the playoffs all season..

Re: Ewood tickets
Then it serves them right if the allocation is low
Imagine if we win the league that night or promotion. Should be done and dusted by then but every man and his dog will be over there
Re: Ewood tickets
There might be a few who go in the home end and keep their heads down. Not a chance that hundreds of Burnley will be roaming around Blackburn centre without tickets, just won't happen.

Just remember, id you order online, they'll not print the ticket if you don't have previous purchase history on your account.
My thought was get a ticket or two in their £10 offer for the match before or two, then get a home end ticket.
Either that or twist a ******* fan at works arm to get you one

Re: Ewood tickets
Preston we’re given 7,335 which the police were happy to manage.
The club should refuse tickets. They’re being petty and we should act the same. Refuse tickets which makes it a big deal on Sky Sports, and then ban their fans from any future games at the Turf. They need the money more than we do.

Re: Ewood tickets
When are they likely to go on sale?
Re: Ewood tickets
Pathetic if true we're only getting 2,300, the bastards are pandering to their own fans not to give us a full Darwen End when they can’t sell out their 3 sides with a top tier shut.
Penniless and turning their nose up at an extra £175,000 in ticket sales.
They won’t have anything to play for come April 25th and I doubt the fans they have left will show up to hear Burnley chant about being champions from minute 1 until the final whistle.
I’m sure they’ll be plenty of Clarets in the home end which will only cause the authorities more issues.

Re: Ewood tickets
The big problem here is the Police can control 7,000 fans in the ground, they won't be able to control 2,000 in the ground, and another 1,000 outside.
There will also be fans using whatever means to get tickets in the home end.
It all leads to chaos, and Rovers would have to take the responsibility for their decisions.
To pander to the myopic view of the few, is really pathetic, and would paint Rovers in a bad light far beyond the town of Burnley. Football fans in general, would agree its wrong, and the EFL, need to take a closer look at it. They might not be able to force Rovers to change their minds, but they could tell them that they will be watching closely, and if there are consequences they could be held to account.

Re: Ewood tickets
Judging from the amounts of additional share capital issued over the last 25 months ( £28,990,000 ), they're running at an operating loss of about £1.2m per month ... Their attendance is averaging 14,274 in a stadium that holds 31,367, whilst riding high in the play-off positions and they've switched the TV gantry to the opposite side of the ground to show less empty seats.
They've only had a sprinkling of gates over 20,000 over the last few years, and that's usually when a big or local Club has brought 5 - 7,000 of it's own supporters. I've been working in a couple of Blackburn secondary schools recently, and speaking to the lads there, they tend to follow either United or Liverpool rather than t'Rovers, which is sad to hear really. This is especially prevalent in the Asian heritage lads.

No obviously not, and would only show that we were as childish as them. Sell out our tickets, get a big screen up on the Turf, and show the mard Bas****s what proper support is. UTC.

Have the club announced when they will go on sale yet?
Or will it be a case of them going on sale randomly at 10 am one morning and the club will announce they are on sale at 10:15 after they have already sold out?

What are the reasons? Because we’ve got less tickets than we like? Hardly a reason to boycott. I’m sure the players and VK would prefer our fans to be at the game.box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 10:22 pmIt’s not like the team won’t know the reasons.
