Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
Good move, over the bar by Cullen.
Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
We're not a million miles off the goal it's just perhaps the last kick that's not the best decision.

Anybody know who took the captains arm band? I think I’ve checked them all and can’t see it.

Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
After the PNE home game where it was full the stand had it's capacity limited as it 'bounced' too much

Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
We could have been through then after great lay by Barnes but Twines final pass was poor

Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
I’d be tempted to put Tella on the left, Vitinho right and put Chaz in at left back (sub for Zaroury)

We really miss Benson’s ability to unlock a defence.

Twine has been very poor since he came on.

No changes yet
Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
We could even lose never mind not score. Twine is lightweight and we need Tella in the middle. Joey wasted in this role. Cork is needed

Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
They are playing like their lives depend on it. Very little when attacking.Croydon Claret wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 4:18 pmCertainly not playing like a team in the relegation zone

Another corner
Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
Why would we need Cork against a team camped in their own box when we are controlling possession? Would be a weird move. Twine done ok for me, none of the attackers really shined yet.

Ekdal gets the ball in a delicate place.
He's ok.

Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
2 subs coming for Blackpool
Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
We’ll win this.
A point isn’t that valuable for Blackpool. They’ll have to at least have a go at scoring which will leave them open.

Obafemi has been on the pitch 3 minutes... he should have scored by now at this rate.

Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
Release Cullen to play higher, plus Cork has an ability to carry the ball and retain it in tight places - which is why we've scored so many goals this season with him in the team against teams set up to defend.
Not saying VK is wrong to go with Twine, but there's your logic.
Re: Blackpool v Clarets match thread
Vitinho, Zavoury and Twine have been so poor. 4’s all three of them.
