Re: weghorst
Bierwurst, Weibwurst and Wollwurst are types of sausage. A Weghorst is a derative of such. A silly sausage. The way he carries on you’d think that he been there for years. A mainstay of the team. It didn’t do him or his team much good, did it? From now on Liverpool players will be urging opponents to touch it every week.

As said before, a total miscast for us.
Not the sharpest tool in the box I think, but a hell of an ego.

Richard Keys has just said he's the worst player ever to play for Man U. Mind of course that's his opinion and I would think.its absolutely not correct. But he's obviously unimpressed.Belgianclaret wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 1:43 pmAs said before, a total miscast for us.

Re: weghorst
are others not allowed to "touch the sign?" is there a sign that says "don't touch the sign, unless you're a Liverpool player?" What a load of tripe about fish

Re: weghorst
For someone who played about 10? games for Burnley with a modest impact at best he doesn't half get a lot of column inches.
I suspect we are stuck with him though for the rest of his contract. If Utd decide against him I can' t see anyone giving him a deal better than his current one at Burnley.

Re: weghorst
They have Chris Wood who personally I would prefer any day of the week. I can't imagine the two of them together
Re: weghorst
I’d prefer Weghorst over Lump of any day if the week.
I mean look at who the players have played for and their respective levels tells you all you need to know.
Lump of will end up reunited with Yawn Dooche in the championship next season anyway.

I know you hide it well but I get the slight impression that you are not a fan of one of most successful managers ever?

So how come Wood is despite him being a far better player (as his record shows).
Would you have preferred we never signed Wood?

Has a chance to impress tonight against Real Betis, because Ten Hag is sticking with the eleven that started
against Liverpool in the Anfield calamity last weekend.

Couldn’t agree more our brass ‘a remarkable record’ is far more impressive… looks like something they got from Athena in the 1980’s.Vincent'sCap wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 7:55 pmFB_IMG_1678391446102.jpg

Big call by Ten Hag that, hopefully WW will impress as thus far his Utd career has been somewhat mixed.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 7:28 pmHas a chance to impress tonight against Real Betis, because Ten Hag is sticking with the eleven that started

Re: weghorst
Not sure Fernandes should be Captain. That was anything but a captain’s performance against Liverpool.

Re: weghorst
Good response by Utd to their Anfield drubbing, Weghorst getting chances but as he often did for Burnley he's lacking the finishing touch.

Strange game for him again, goal ruled out, an excellent block stops a certain goal and misses a sitter.
Certainly having a better game than De Gea.
