15 mins to go and 3-0 up at home.
Anyone else given away a lead like that this season?

Decent enough fightback from them but, I'm afraid the horse had already bolted.

Re: Stoke v Rovers
Blimey that got well too close for comfort. The subs off and on made a big difference, positively for Rovers, negatively for Potters.
Re: Stoke v Rovers
Just shows. If the way you are playing gets you three ahead don't suddenly start playing deeper. By the way I thought the way the lad took the first 2 for Stoke was amazing.

Re: Stoke v Rovers
Only thing better than seeing Rovers lose 3-0 is seeing them pull it back to 3-2 and early leavers return to their seatsβ¦ only to run out of time. To think I nearly didnβt watch it.

Re: Stoke v Rovers
4 home wins tonight, with wins for Caley, Crewe, Queen's Park & Stoke, let's hope that's an omen for tomorrow.
Stoke made heavy weather of it in the latter stages, but thankfully held on to inflict Rovers 14th league defeat of the season.
How they are sitting 4th with that many losses is baffling.

Because your better off winning 1 and losing 2 , than drawing 2 and only losing 1.tiger76 wrote: βFri Mar 10, 2023 10:08 pm4 home wins tonight, with wins for Caley, Crewe, Queen's Park & Stoke, let's hope that's an omen for tomorrow.

Its completely baffling but at 3 points for a win is the answertiger76 wrote: βFri Mar 10, 2023 10:08 pm4 home wins tonight, with wins for Caley, Crewe, Queen's Park & Stoke, let's hope that's an omen for tomorrow.

Not saying I disagree, but I was interested to hear on commentary last night that when Gallagher plays they have something like an 87% win rate, and without him about 13%.Woodleyclaret wrote: βFri Mar 10, 2023 8:52 pmHow shite is Gallagher? He has the ball skills of a man in wellies.
I assume that that is correct, although the stats will have changed a bit after last night.
(They lost at Turf Moor when he played, but I think it was 0-0 when he went off injured)

Re: Stoke v Rovers
Sad as I am, I've just checked their record when Gallagher has started, and that's 22 league games. They've won 16 and lost 6 which is 48 points from 22 games which is just about the number of points per game we have over our 35 games. One of those 6 defeats was the one against us although, as you said, it was 0-0 when he went off.nil_desperandum wrote: βSat Mar 11, 2023 12:12 pmNot saying I disagree, but I was interested to hear on commentary last night that when Gallagher plays they have something like an 87% win rate, and without him about 13%.

Re: Stoke v Rovers
The Rovers fans leaving early last night were heard chanting 'I'm Rovers till half nine' as they left the ground.
