How do you think the City game will go?
Just watching the City game vs Palace and I'm wondering how Kompany will instruct us to play.
Against Man U I thought we gave a very good account of ourselves and Man U supporting friends thought we played well. We had chances and even had a better pass success.
Do you think it'll be like under Dyche where we're defending for pretty much the entire game, or do you fancy us giving them plenty of problems?

We'll give it a good go, but unfortunately I think their quality will tell.

Just watching them play Palace. I expect we’ll be parked in our 6 yard box and get a thrashing but still, one you have to go & watch just, just, in case…

Similar to United, we’ll try hard and get beat to nil.

Man for man we're not a million miles away but that odd few thousand will be the difference.

I actually think we'll score, however keeping them quiet might be beyond us.
TBH I'm more concerned with the Hull game in midweek and sealing another 3 points on our march to promotion.

We dont need no fair play sanctions
We dont need no "Sheik" control
No dark decisions in the boardroom

Re: How do you think the City game will go?
I'm hoping that we play our strongest eleven. We now have a sufficient points cushion to 'risk' our stars in a cup game, we're close enough to the final to make that risk worthwhile and irrespective of the result, the opportunity to see how our current first eleven perform against a top EPL side would be beneficial to our summer plans/dealings

Good shout - just gone big on that for £3 (still would give £45 quid back and a bit more interest in the game)

Re: How do you think the City game will go?
This is a new team both on and off the pitch compared to our seasonal PL beatings under SD
The players - and of course manager - will be massively up for this and will rise to the challenge
City should be too good for us but expecting us play our normal game as best we can and give us all a night to remember whatever the outcome

Genuinely not bothered. I hope VK picks a strong team that competes and we show how good we really are. It’s just another super moment in what has been an outstanding, fabulous season.

Re: How do you think the City game will go?
They'll have all the possession but with Zaroury and Tella playing (and maybe a Benson cameo) we should have more chances than we did under Dyche. We can score a goal or two and who knows, that might be enough.
Re: How do you think the City game will go?
We're going to shock them. No fluke, next Saturday evening Burnley will put in a performance that will be talked about for years to come.
Re: How do you think the City game will go?
We need to increase our scorers. Cork will head one early and Bailey will come up at the end and head the winner.

Just watched the palace game and actually thought we’d beat both of these
Re: How do you think the City game will go?
I wonder if we play at our most City like that they might struggle. But I just want a performance that makes potential players and investors, potential global fans and high value sponsors feel positive and keen to be involved. I would sacrifice a few points for that.

Re: How do you think the City game will go?
We will try and play the game we’ve been playing all season - as, of course, we should. Unfortunately, City will show us that the reason we’ve had so much success playing this way is primarily because nearly all the other teams in the Championship are sh!t, and will duly hand us our arses in a similar fashion to how they have done for most of the last 30-odd years.
But hey, at least we’ll have given it a go and we might even bag ourselves goal.

No idea but I'd take around 8s or 10s. We had as many clearcut chances as Utd in that game.. Its doable.

As long as we don't use it as a yardstick for how ready we are for next season, then it doesn't matter what the score is

We will win 11-10 on penalties ... Arijanet Muric saving from the City Keeper Ederson

Having watched Palace v City tonight, I am confident we could have beaten that Palace side, yet they lose by one goal. No reason to go to the Etiad fearing them

Can see us giving them a better game than any Dyche side has given them in recent years, but ultimately we will come up short against the best side in England...no disgrace there
