I do think it’s quite an English thing to leave early, which I think is what Kompany actually said. I go to a few Napoli games and the stadium is still virtually full 5-10 minutes after the game. I can’t remember ever seeing anyone leave early. When they’ve won the players do a full lap of appreciation with music still blasting. It’s great.

Why can’t they wait until the final whistle to applaud the team off for their efforts. Win, lose or draw. That’s what real Burnley fans do. Not desert them when they are needed most. VK has already made comment and noticed that the stadium starts emptying early. Bizarre people. Stay and support the team until the end.
If you bothered to actually read the thread in detail...similar to real solicitors and barristers read briefs, you would have seen some genuine reasons for leaving, including the one I posted
Good advice to any solicitor is read the evidence carefully, never skim read as you miss important information

I’m presuming you headed back to Burnley? For comparison, I left on 70 mins, and was home for 9.15.
Yeah. Via china town. 😋

I did read your reason for leaving but it is just another pathetic excuse. BTW I don't get briefs. You must be getting confused between a solicitor and a barrister. But I do instruct and prepare briefs for my barrister.

I've seen very few quoting a medical reason

Try another argument......
not interested in the match
misplaced desire to be the first one back to the car
habit
told off by the mrs
just generally being a wet lettuce

take your pick

I said... read briefs........which both solicitors and barristers do, for different reasons....difficult to instruct and prepare without reading

plenty in here have cited "medical" or "kids"

read the thread in detail, difficult to instruct and prepare without reading

But not 2000?
And very few on here mention medical reasons

Are you Mr pussy ? Funny how you both appear on a thread nobody has bothered with for days....with similar views, and ignore facts...

When pussy mentions "preparing briefs" he means getting the kids undies ready for school, thats as near to "briefs" as he gets

Napoli's stadium was half empty at full time last Thursday for the Italy v England game.
From what I was told most of the crowd present were Napoli fans.

By the way England fans were kept behind in the stadium for just under 1 hour, there was no music being played though! :D
