Embarrassing from Clive Tyldesley. He’s again said that Tommy Doyle’s two granddads will be celebrating. Mike Doyle died in 2011 and Glyn Pardoe in 2020.

Nothing quite like switching to a back 5 to defend the lead……….and suddenly conceding………..
Yes there is conceding twice.

Was wondering then, myself.
Was googling Pardoe to check!

This is what happens when you get two of the biggest bottle job clubs playing in a big game. One of them will revert to type and bottle it. Nice.

Burnley knocked out the quarter finals by the best team in the world. Rovers knocked out by the best team in Sheffield.

Well that's perked me up somewhat.

Amazing Sheff Utd were close to bowing out to non-league Wrexham in both ties, and now they are going to Wembley.

Shocking substitution from Rovers they were the better team in midfield. Going for 5 at the back cost them. How sad….😃

Glad to see that Sheffield won, the only bit of the match I saw were the 3 or 4 minutes where the Rovers' penalty was awarded and scored; that was a truly awful decision, just glad the lad didn't get sent off too.

Arsenal 2-0 up v C Palace at HT. Palace started OK but Arsenal now into their stride and looking good for further goals.

Palace 12th (11 points adrift of 11th!) but only 4 points above Saints at the bottom. So many clubs down there fearing relegation at this stage.
