Twine is so lightweight, he'd get bullied in a U16's game
he needs a summer in the gym that's for sure but I don't doubt his ability, rarely gives the ball away when he passes it

That’s been so evident when he’s played in the first team. Hard to imagine he’d ever get a game in the Premier League.

I've only watched the last five minutes and there's no passion at all, particularly from our boys. I'm not bothered to watch anymore!

How did he get 20 goals 13 assists in League One then?
He looks a long way away from a player capable of that.

Agree… but he did it and had top Champ clubs (Inc Sheff Utd) after him. He needs a full season in the Champ, no doubt about that, the injury set him back quite a bit it seems. I’m sure there will be plenty of takers on loan in the summer.

Commentary team didn’t know who but Turner & Westley have just come on. Think THB & Thompson have gone off.

Twine needs to go on a season long loan to a championship team, maybe to Coventry in a deal for Gyökeres

Twine just then, didn't even attempt to win the ball. Sheffield United kid bullied him. Best player in League One last season should be making more of an impact in an u21 fixture than he has today. Unless the Sheffield United lads are superstars I don't know about.

I think we’d struggle to get him into the Championship to be honest. I can see him going back to MK if they stay up.

He’ll easily get in the Championship. For a starter Hull wanted to sign him last summer.

True, but we know he can do it at league one level so he needs to be tested at championship level, if not Coventry maybe one of the teams coming up like Sheffield Wednesday

It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up for a season in Belgium which is a far more technical league, I genuinely don't see him dropping to League One at all. I also think Bastien will be sold, he's showed even less sadly

Only watched 10 minutes of it, and I appreciate it's a bit of a training / fitness session for some. But it's fair to say our first team can rest easy. There's absolutely nothing there ready to take a place, even in the squad. The Sheff Utd lads look really good mind.

See what you are saying, I think he needs to toughen up a bit though so the Championship is good for that. There will be takers no doubt. Bastien I agree he will leave as we upgrade the midfield significantly.

well that was an interesting watch, purely a jogging session for many. More minutes for Benson and THB and we know they are more than capable of performances way above the level we've just witnessed. Twine needs to get in the gym and get his confidence back, Bastien wont be here next season.

Cheers for the link to the game lads

Dervişoğlu's been possibly the weirdest signing. Doesn't look the sort of striker Kompany's wanted. Maybe he was brought in before we decided to commit to the sort of false nine, deep frontman sort of role Barnes and Rodriguez have played but I doubt it. Hasn't worked out but hey ho, most of it has this season.

Like I said earlier Ekdal has been superb ,but the range of passing THB has ,he must be a shoe in after the international break.

Sometimes he reminds me of Danny Ings, most of the time he reminds me of Ian Moore.

Not as large as last year but they'll be quite a turnover of personnel in the summer.

Someone questioned me a couple of weeks ago when I said a fit THB is first choice. We’ve done really well without him but he adds so much with his passing. I’m hoping Pep thinks he might need a loan to a Premier League Club next season.

they've just put a 12 million quid bid in for Luka Vuskovic of Hajduk Split - he's only 16 and playing first team football. There is no way THB gets in City's team next season, I'd be surprised if we don't get him on loan again.

Hopefully. Thought it was a huge blow losing him to injury but we’ve come through it with eight wins and three draws.

Trouble is they may also want to cash in on THB, and you could understand a lot more being offered than what we can unfortunately.

No overreaction......We were seriously second best with a very strong starting line-up.

Poor attitude from the kick-off, which VK will find totally unacceptable.

I hate to say it, but I’m not remotely surprised with the comments re Twine.

There’s a player there, but at the moment, it’s League 1 at best. His lack of physicality is a real, real issue.

A real shame because his signing was the one I was most excited about.

Totally agree....it's a real dilemma......Is there anyone more capable over a 20 yard free-kick ?.....with the possible exception of Ward-Prowse ?

But to return to the game this afternoon......That was a humiliating defeat against our nearest rivals (albeit a million miles away) in the Championship......VK will be seething, or, at least, he should be.....He demands such high levels from his players in EVERY game.

I stopped watching at 2 - 0 but I have to say they looked like a bunch of blokes chucked together for a kickabout against a strong and well organised opponent. At that point Franchi had done well to keep the score down to a respectable level.

Very much so and in all the years I’ve watched Burnley we’ve always turned in poor reserve performances when first team players have been included in any numbers. We really were shockingly poor today though.

I hate to say it, but I’m not remotely surprised with the comments re Twine.

There’s a player there, but at the moment, it’s League 1 at best. His lack of physicality is a real, real issue.

A real shame because his signing was the one I was most excited about.
I’ll be honest. I know he hasn’t played much but what I’ve seen hasn’t impressed me at all. On here he’s like another Vydra, gets better and better when he doesn’t play.

Some overreaction to a reserve game on here. Blimey.
It's unbelievable, and from posters I'd expect better from...embarrassing
