Accy red cards

Another one for Stanley tonight. Feels like they get one every game lately.

Poor breeding ground for any youngsters we send out on loan in future.

Becoming a ridiculous problem for them. Be surprised if they manage to avoid relegation this season.

Today's was a bit ridiculous. The first booking was because he tried to welly the ball clear, and missed it. There was a forward near by and he missed him as well. It wasn't clear whether the booking was for missing the ball or missing the man.

Whatever else the ref could be accused of (and he was accused of quite a lot), he certainly couldn't be accused of being a homer. 18 fouls by Accrington, 13 by Plymouth; 5 yellow cards for Accrington, 0 for Plymouth. Admittedly, one of Accrington's yellows was for one of those mass handbags sessions where everyone is holding everyone else back. Once again, no Plymouth players were involved! :P

I'd be very surprised if they managed to avoid relegation this season. Very low budget and loads of injuries - it's a lethal combination.

I'm wondering if the owner has lost interest? Much of this season has been overshadowed locally by a dispute between Andy Holt (owner) and Hyndburn Council 're noise nuisance complaints made by local residents.
