Using my very crude deduction skills I think there has been approximately 2600 applications.
Each row seemed to consist of 150 seats and at the last check as they were still on sale at 6am this morning it was row 18 seat 50.
Therefore my crude maths makes this 2600, I maybe totally off the mark mind so don’t hold me to this

We don’t do away games anymore, can’t do with the hassle. I’ve never looked at our points accumulated and haven’t a clue what to look at in order to find them, just out of interest could someone guide me. Thanks.

I’m shocked if only 2600 have applied. Id have expected at least 5000 if not more

Will there be a difference between the amount of applications and the amount of tickets applied for? For example if 2600 applications have been made a lot of them would be for 2, 3 or 4 tickets meaning closer to 5000+ actual ticket applications?

Genuine questions...
What's the logic/thinking behind a boycott?
What would it achieve?
Why would anyone choose not to support this wonderful team at our rivals if we had the chance?

The allocation is pathetic and our system of ballot/points is just as bad, but I fail to see what a boycott would do to affect these issues.
It would highlight the issue of how we as fans are being treated, sometimes it isn't all about supporting our team but about morals.
We would all still be supporting the team from a far, if we had the fanzone packed inside and out the club could send the support to the lads to show our support.
It would highlight the fact that football fans have had enough of being taken for an absolute ride by clubs around the country.
A local derby game should be packed to the rafters and very noisy, not half empty like it will be.

That would be more like it. I know my application is for 2 tickets, and I know loads that have applied for 4

Yes but each individual ticket generates an individual row/seat number. So if the maths further up is correct 2600 tickets have been requested in total rather than 2600 applications.

Slightly off topic

But have these actions from Deadwood been picked up by either tv or national newspapers

Surely this would make a good story and give B'stards the bad publicity they deserve

About right I would say.

15k ST holders.
Say 6k have the required points, being a ST holder for 10 years plus 200 away games.
Half don't do away games anymore but some pass their CNs on to others, but with ID checks they won't risk it.
Midweek game, on sky and extra hassle sorting tickets are more reasons people might not bother.

I think the midweek aspect will have put a fair few off, unable to get it off work or having to travel home for those that don't live to local.

Corporate hospitality season ticket holders are being limited to 2 tickets each - if any more are required they have to enter the ballot, advising by 10.00 tomorrow morning.

The I.d checks are only for the lead booking name.

The 2k allocation alone puts me off, I think there'll be trouble caused by away fans getting tickets in the home end and empty heads travelling over without a ticket to cause trouble.

Not that I have a choice, I have 6500 points

Leicester are doing a trial for away tickets at the minute, where 60 random people have to collect with ID on the matchday.
On the first game 47 people never collected the tickets out of 60.

Personally I think this is a horrendous idea. Many people aren't travelling from their home ground so can't pick it up there, and then when you get there if you have to traverse the stadium to queue up and collect it from their TO wouldn't that put you off. Imagine having to join the queue at the turf if your coach rocked up at 14:45, you'd miss the first half.

I'm inclined to agree, such an allocation has left thousands of fans without tickets, even giving us 4000 tickets would have done well to negate this number, but I think the prospect of thousands of our own in their end will drive more of ours over in a snowball effect. It's also funny how the only way to get a ticket in their end now is the £99 deal for the last 5, meaning all those empty seats for the other 4 games.

in 1891 Rovers sulked and walked off the pitch and we were awarded the win.
They've been Jealous, Childish ,Selfish Galhoots ever since
The match at the Turf went off with little trouble .Rovers are hell bent on causing trouble that is all they have left to cling onto

It said Rotherham tickets would be available at 10am yesterday - but they were being sold before that!
The lucky 2000 could well be notified well before midday!

I don't really understand the scramble for tickets for this game. Massive banana skin and a very real likelihood of crowd trouble.

Playing the best football in god knows how long, storming the championship, clear champions by this game, playing our most fierce rivals. If you don't understand the scramble for tickets already then nothing anybody can say will change your mind. I would imagine crowd trouble should be contained to pretty much within the home sections.

Can’t argue with that, personally I just hate going there so I’ve not even tried, weirdly it’s just the one game I’d rather miss.
Having said that, if my mates got me a ticket I’ll still go 😂

Has anyone who applied for more than one ticket (via different Clarets numbers, of course) received all tickets or just one? I am showing as successful on only one of my 3 at the moment.

It says "ballot successful" on my purchase history - above the ballot application that was on yesterday - hoping this is a good sign
Me too. Maybe it just means we have been successfully entered into the ballot!

It does quote a price tho

Has anyone who applied for more than one ticket (via different Clarets numbers, of course) received all tickets or just one? I am showing as successful on only one of my 3 at the moment.
I just 1 in the quantity section too.
