I never said sell
It's not a criminal offence
If they was to go down that route I don't think they'd be letting everyone in that said they got given them

In a discussion with someone about ticket allocation. If your number has been drawn out of the ballot how many tickets can you buy?

If your application was part of a 'joint' entry then in theory all the members of that group should have been successful. I could go on and purchase mine and my sons ticket in the same way as a normal away game using friends & family.

Possibly controversial, but anyone too young to have earned the requisite 6k points should be refused entry

As pointed out on the other thread where you posted the same.
It was a restriction put on by Burnley for the sale of tickets

It's not a restriction on entry to the ground, nobody is going to check, because nobody cares

You could apply for up to 4 tickets on the ballot application, but you had to provide individual clarets numbers for all 4 and they all had to have 6000+ points

Yeah, let's kick out some younger fans to make the older ones feel a bit better about missing a game.

There are clubs in this country where some fans accept it is almost impossible to go to any away game whine less than this.

Well - that's the initial 24 hour sale period up. 39 tickets remain unclaimed.

The email says 4pm today. Most of the emails didn't come through til mid-late afternoon yesterday.

What if an elder loyal fan with 12k plus points cannot go or wants to sacrifice there ticket to allow there younger relative the chance to go who otherwise wouldn't get the opportunity?
Surely it is up to the person with the points what they do with the ticket?

I saw they even massively reduced the number of away tickets in the disabled section. No way to see that other than vindictive.

Still, it doesn't affect me directly so i suppose Nori1958 would have me not comment on it ;)

Not really been impressed with us, and never seem to play that good... says more about Rovers them getting battered by us 3-0 and it could have been 5!

Well maybe he' wasn't at the Turf, or not seen us very often this season after all.

Agree with the Watford and WBA fan as well as Don Goodman.

Why do blackburn fans always sound like they have a mouth full of marbles when you hear one speak, granted they can't help it seems to be thick but they should be able to make their mouth move normally.

I am glad he has never been impressed with us, what better way to admit that his team is absolute dog, by saying a team that beat us 3-0 and stopped us from hardly even touching the ball for 90 minutes beat us.

Wouldn’t pay too much credence to him - this will absolutely killing them seeing us this season. They were fully ready for us to be struggling at the lower ends and the fact we’re sitting pretty at the top must be difficult for them to comprehend.

The cognitive dissonance is staggering.

He deep down knows what he’s saying is ******** but cannot live with the fact that we are by and far one of, if not the best second tier sides of all time.

The win against Rovers was the easiest home win of the season considering they were one place behind us at the time.

Don't know if it's off the back of the City game, or this ticket fiasco, but I find the general Rovers fans new found arrogance at the moment somewhat staggering.

If he’s not been impressed with us, I’d love to know what he’s thought about Rovers. They’ve put in some tedious performances this season.

Just been down and got told the same. Got told they will be available to collect after 5 from the claret ticket collection container in the north east carpark, whether that happens or not is anyones guess.
They have had since Tuesday/Wednesday to sort only 2,000 tickets into envelops and still haven't done it yet.
And yet again there has been no communication about the delay from the club.
The ticket office strikes again!

I would be surprised if all of them are ready by tonight if they aren’t ready now given they have had days to do it!

I rang to pay for the 2 I've got and was told it's collection only. Does that tally with what other people have been told? I was expecting them to be posted but was informed I have to collect them and bring I.D.

On the email notifying that you were able to buy a ticket it said this:

“You now have until 4pm on Wednesday 29th March to purchase your ticket(s), all you need to do is follow the link below, please remember to login to your ticketing account before trying to purchase.

Once purchased, tickets will be available to collect from the Turf Moor ticket office from Friday 31st March. All general admission tickets will need to be collected in advance of the game and photo ID in the name of the person making the booking will be required.”

Hope that answers your question

Collected mine this morning. It's just the lead booker who needs ID to collect all the tickets on a particular order.

Also as expected, no names printed on the tickets either.

So now it begins, the great big hand out to friends, acquaintances, anybody you fancy. No checks will be made on entry to Ewood so basically anybody with mates can get a ticket (except for limited numbers). Ps I am not bitter, I have loads of points but don’t want to be involved in any tribal aggro. I don’t hate Rovers, they are just a team that I like to beat, no more no less.

I just can't see how feasible it would be to check everyone's ID at a football match and expect everyone to turn up a hour or so earlier than they are used to to get everyone in on time.

2000 in this case, but many more for other matches.
