Re: Rovers away tickets
I think we should reduce Blackburn’s number to 25% of our away end next time we play them, so around 600.
Yes, I know that may lead to a fine by the competition organiser, but it’d be worth it. We should them keep doing it until they behave.

Happier than yours - they can at least spell "their".AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 9:53 amThey must of gone to 100% of every away game over 13 year's to have 6k points, I bet thier school wasn't happy
And a few away games but mainly season tickets, which were exceptionally good value in the JMU as juniors. Probably about the cost of 1 midweek away trip to Millwall.
Re: Rovers away tickets
Don’t think they’ll be playing on the Turf in the foreseeable future, unless it’s a cup game.Claretforever wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 1:47 pmI think we should reduce Blackburn’s number to 25% of our away end next time we play them, so around 600.

My lad is 15, and has had a season ticket since he was about 7, and he's got just over 4,000 points
I reckon if you did a lot of away and cup games, its perfectly possible

Think it started about 2004/5.
Re: Rovers away tickets
My Brother passed away in 2021 he had had a season ticket since 2011, and he had just passed the 6000 points when he passed away ... those points now lost into the ether.

You can't get to 6k points in 13 season's with just season ticket points, 13 seasons from 5 years old to 18 gives you 4450 points

I know away points count but he was trying to say barring a few away games the points total was down to having a season ticket for year's at 10 points per away game you'd have to go to almost every single away game to get to 6k and that is my original point

Tin pot attitude by B@stards and childish to offer us 2k tickets but at the end of the day they've stayed within the rules and its their ground so they can do what they want, they're missing out on around £180k in much needed funds and it won't stop us lifting this fabulous trophy

Re: Rovers away tickets
The feeling on their board is why should they bother about 180k when they are already approaching £200million in the hole to their 'nasty' owners?AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 2:52 pmTin pot attitude by B@stards and childish to offer us 2k tickets but at the end of the day they've stayed within the rules and its their ground so they can do what they want, they're missing out on around £180k in much needed funds and it won't stop us lifting this fabulous trophy

Maybe the Venky's will have swallowed the idea that limiting us to 2,000 tickets will guarantee them three points? I'm sure the chief executive will love being summoned to India when they lose not only the three points but the gate receipts from a full Darwen end.

My youngest is 18, has 6030 points and didn't bother with a season ticket this year as he's off to Uni.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 2:31 pmYou can't get to 6k points in 13 season's with just season ticket points, 13 seasons from 5 years old to 18 gives you 4450 points
I'll be straight onto the club though to let them know they've miscalculated.

Not sure what happened to the other one but I think it’s fantastic to see someone in charge standing up to the ridiculous decision instead of us accepting it and saying nothing.

Re: Rovers away tickets
It's catching!. Man City are limiting Liverpool to 2,382 tickets for the game on April 1st because of "a threat to public disorder". Needless to say the scousers aren't happy.

Would be good as well if AP & Co refused the Bar Stewards “Directors Hospitality” and just sat with our contingent, that would send a message at boardroom level to the Venky’s stooges
Re: Alan Pace comments re. Rovers
Hel be there
Re: Alan Pace comments re. Rovers
All the Burnley fans who get tickets could play a part in paying that lot back. Refuse to spend money on programmes, pies/pints or any refreshment. Losing money that way, will go part way of getting our own back on them.

Love this makes absolute sense. Let the few that get to support the team, stick two fingers up to this crazy and unfair situation.

Once on the ground, all those with tickets will forget everything and get stuck into the pies and pints in a massive show of “solidarity”.

Re: Alan Pace comments re. Rovers
I cannot see remotely what a boycott will achieve. The whole point is that Rovers are attempting to limit the number of Burnley fans at the game to give them an advantage and by boycotting you are helping them achieve their objective. Probably they would be quite happy to play in front of zero Burnley fans and they are quite happy to lose out financially if they think it will help them win the tie.
Best thing to do is fans and players turn up there and stuff 'em. None of this letting up at 3 - 0, get to double figures first.
Alan was probably wondering why they are known as B*s*a*ds, now he knows.

Re: Alan Pace comments re. Rovers
If they’re happy to lose out on selling six thousand tickets, they won’t bat an eyelid at the loss of five or ten thousand on catering.
Best way to stick two fingers up at them is to give them a good hiding, on the pitch. Hopefully all of this nonsense fires our players up even more.

It becomes tit for tat and the only people who lose out are the fans, the same fans who fought long and hard for capped prices for away supporters.

Not that we have had any issues with our motivation this season. Team or fans. I recon the 2000 that are lucky enough to get there will make themselves heard and VK et al will use this as a tool to fire up the team.
I hope we stuff em and the team and lucky 2000 celebrate long and hard together way after the final whistle.
