Re: Rovers away tickets
Like a poster said before whoever as tickets sing your heart out for the lads who missed out on getting a ticket and order your inflatable championship
Re: Rovers away tickets
Coach tickets have the season ticket holders name on who's points were used, children won't be checked for ID at the match but all adults still being checked at the turnstiles according to the club apparently at Blackburn's request.ClaretSam92 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 11:11 amCollected mine this morning. It's just the lead booker who needs ID to collect all the tickets on a particular order.
Also as expected, no names printed on the tickets either.
Not sure if they can do that but wouldn't surprise me if they did to stop even more Burnley fans entering to cause a stink

What are they checking against? There’s no names on the tickets. Why do people make up **** for attention.bumba wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 7:09 amCoach tickets have the season ticket holders name on who's points were used, children won't be checked for ID at the match but all adults still being checked at the turnstiles according to the club apparently at Blackburn's request.

Re: Rovers away tickets
There was a 2nd ticket (Burnley FC issue) inside with your name and then the seat you had been allocated at the game on it. Are they maybe expecting us to have both tickets when we arrive at the ground? That said the ticket office never said anything when I collected mine and they're long gone in the bin!!!gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 7:56 amWhat are they checking against? Looks like its just an order ticket. I didn't receive my coach tickets though I don't think, has anybody else?clarets1978 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 9:53 amThere was a 2nd ticket (Burnley FC issue) inside with your name and then the seat you had been allocated at the game on it. Nope, me neither. I asked about it when collecting the tickets and was told we’d get an email re coach (knackered bus!) number……..

Can't see the club making it up for attention, maybe as a scare tactic but not attention.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 7:56 amWhat are they checking against? There’s no names on the tickets. Why do people make up **** for attention.
There's names on the coach tickets but they haven't said there checking there, they just said children won't be checked for ID which is the ones who haven't enough points but that adults will be checked on the turnstile.
I've said over and over I don't think they will but I've been told twice by the ticket office that this is happening

I wasn’t aiming it at you bumba, mainly the source of the rumours. There’s no way on earth police will be checking id on turnstiles, as said there’s nowt to check againstbumba wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 12:03 pmCan't see the club making it up for attention, maybe as a scare tactic but not attention.

Re: Rovers away tickets
Does anyone remember if the away turnstiles are the manned like at The Turf or all turnstiles like the ones at City? My dad has a ticket and cannot now go due to being taken ill. Was taking 12 yr old son in his place. Don't want to be in a situation where I have to get a steward to look after him whilst i go in the ground
Re: Rovers away tickets
They didn't say Police the second time, they said Blackburn had asked for a list so they could get stewards to do the checks against a lost sent over by Burnley.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 12:10 pmI wasn’t aiming it at you bumba, mainly the source of the rumours. Sending over a list is easy name and seat number to match against your ticket but I can't see how a steward will keep nearly 2k fans lined up whilst checking against a lost. They'll just want the fans in asap to prevent trouble.
Wouldn't surprise me tho if Blackburn tried this to reduce our capacity further after everything they've done so far
Re: Rovers away tickets
You should be fine, far better than selling the ticket to someone you don't know, and safer.bfcpete wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 12:16 pmDoes anyone remember if the away turnstiles are the manned like at The Turf or all turnstiles like the ones at City? Re: Rovers away tickets
Asked about coach tickets and she said they would be e-mail to us, we then have to print them out.

If identification is a requirement of entry, which it won't be, then BRFC would be obliged to publicise this.

Travel by coach is not mandatory, so not every supporter will have a coach ticket. Are you saying only supporters who travel by coach will be getting checked for I'd as they will be the ones with coach tickets with names on.bumba wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 7:09 amCoach tickets have the season ticket holders name on who's points were used, children won't be checked for ID at the match but all adults still being checked at the turnstiles according to the club apparently at Blackburn's request.

I have managed to speak with someone at the club this morning to try and get clarification and they didn't have a clue what i was talking about. They informed that checks by Id and names on coach tickets would be pointless as not every supporter has to use the coaches.

Did you speak to anyone at the ticket office or just some random person at the club?
Ticket office have told me twice.
What have I to gain from making it up? I couldn't care less whether they do or don't I'll be there either way
Re: Rovers away tickets
I spoke to the ticket office. I asked them what form of I.D would be needed for access to the Blackburn match.bumba wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 2:31 pmI never said only people on the coaches would be getting checked, read the posts correctly.

After a bit of silence and some muttering in the background, they came back on the phone and said " Do you mean for the collection of the tickets" . When i said "No, for entrance into Ewood" they was again stumped for an answer. They confirmed that I.D was only needed for the collection of the tickets from Turf Moor. They said no names were on the tickets so they wouldn't be able to match the ticket to an individual with ID and if this was the case it would have been made clear during the ticket ballot procedure . I then described the coach situation with names on the ticket but they said that wouldn't be workable as not everyone is travelling by coach.
I am not saying you were making it up, not at all.
I was just sharing what the ticket office had told me.

There is no ID required to get in the ground.
The day after the game only bumba will have been asked to show ID

Have I not said over and over and over again that I don't think they can or will do it, I was simply telling you what STAFF at the ticket office told me and I know have told others.
If that's made up that's up to them, I'm just telling people what they said in person to me.
I won't be taking ID I never carry ID around with me.

Re: Rovers away tickets
Went to pick up my ticket today and when I asked out my coach ticket they said it'll be an email or a qr code that'll be sent out later, he said at the beginning they give out paper ticket's but said after a rethink it was to expensive to print 2000 so it's the other way now, anyone else had this.

I don't know if you've been to an away game bumba, but ticket checks at turnstiles happen at most away game's

Enhanced checks will be bags and looking for pyrotechnics.
The quote says ....... and ticket checks, not enhanced ticket checks.

Look, just get over yourself. I am 41 year's old. I have better things to do than come on a message board and make things up. I never accused you of making things up. All i passed on was what the ticket office said to me. No ID will be needed. I've got my ticket and there is nothing on the ticket to confirm my identification.
Anyway, shouldn't you be in a good mood, getting yourself ready for the trip up to Boro and tonight's match. Well, that's what i am doing, not trying to score points on a message board.
