Just found this link on YouTube. Apart from referring to the team as The Bolton Wanderers, it’s a really good capture of the event. I didn’t know that not only did the game continue, but it was played to a finish, and they literally drew a new goal line with sawdust (not sure if they moved the goalposts)

It seems shocking to us now, callous even, but they had just come through a bloody World War.

Hard to believe they kept on playing - today they stop a game should one fan require medical assistance in the stand.

I watched this earlier, then saw this link. Interesting, and as Rowls says, this was just after WW2.
