Good old Southgate selections are amazing ,Maguire has played 3 times since World Cup,Phillhips has hardly played at all ,living up to his box ticking ,he would love to be able to play a female ,but has to manage with Phillhips instead, picked JFH has a new coach ,and said we needed to continuing being diverse .

I was baffled when they bought him.

Did reasonably well for England on occasion but he’s way below the levels of the type of player City have.

England are just a very very good international outfit these days.

The decision to play Phillips has proven to be a great one, it’s allowed Bellingham to play more advanced.
