England’s new all time leading scorer. Outstanding to see that record broken again.

And to think he could have spent a season on loan here if the loan fee wasn't so big

Well done Harry, though I'll wager he'd swap that record for actually winning something, be that with England or Spurs.

And Spurs all time goal scorer. And a World Cup golden boot winner. And will probably end up as the Premier League all time top scorer. But unless he leaves Spurs may end up winning not one team medal or trophy

Excellent piece on Harry Kane on the BBC web site. The VT at the end is very good and has a lot of the people who worked with him from six years old onwards. What stands out is his focus and determination to succeed despite various setbacks including being rejected by Arsenal aged 10.

Like Jimmy Greaves he has been a real bane for Burnley but what a great player.

What's he won, 75% of his England goals have come against team's in the bottom rankings of world football like San Mario

Three golden boots in the EPL and one in the World Cup.

Not bad considering the teams he has played in.

Surely he won't sign a new deal at Spurs? Time for him to move on and try and win some silverware.

He's spent too long at Spurs but doesn't alter his individual ability and talent

Given almost a third of his goals were penalties, would he still hold the record if only goals from open play were recorded. And if not who would?

If we are playing that game Weghorst has more honours than we have had in 60+ years.

Djimi Traore won a Champions League, doesn't make him any good. What a strange take :|

This obsession with medals in a team game is a bit too much. We only use it to put someone down, even a great player like Kane. Why? We all know he's a great player anyway.

Nobody says what a true legend of the game Wes Brown is, because he's got 5 Premier League titles.

I think all time leading PL goalscorer is greater than winning any team trophy.
