I believe Hitler 100% escaped Germany.

He was a coward after all and would have had a contingency plan. The fact that his remains were never identified speaks volumes.

The only other one I get behind is the fractional reserve banking stuff.

Nobody that has ever proposed the micro chip conspiracy has been able to answer the question as to how the chips are powered and how the data within them might be harvested.

Never studied the Hitler escape theories, but nor do I need to. All the top academics who have say many Nazi’s escaped to South America; Argentina being a favourite… but there is not one hard fact to suggest Hitler was one of them. I can only assume at least some of them have had access to the Russian records. Russia had zero interest in allowing Hitler to move closer to the USA (as many experts did). Had it happened there would have been an official stink long before now.

One which is worrying a lot of academics at the moment is the attack on dissent in the west. Recent years have seen the Humanities starved of funding, the prime source of intellectual opposition, historically. Satire, the historical voice of the ordinary man has anlso been under anttack… and, and just recently announce changes to taxation within journalism which will further disincentivise serious investigative journalism. People were quick to jump on Lineker the other week, but parts of academia are seriously concerned with the seemingly systematic destruction of the democratic voice.

No, not the same as pets at all.

With cats/dogs the data is read by running over the chip in close proximity with a scanning tool.

That never happened to me since I had my vaccines

Speaking as a WW2 historian plenty of incidents were controversial/unexplained within reasonable doubt, Hitler was the easiest explained Himmler & goring less so.

The Elvis conspiracy is an interesting one ... According to his hairdresser, Larry Geller, after Elvis's autopsy, he had to dye his hair and sideburns that had at least half an inch of grey before he was placed in his casket and he was " almost unrecognisable " .... the picture below was taken 12 hours before Presley's body was " discovered " in his bathroom, as he drove back from a late night visit to the Dentist. Do you see any grey ?

Elvis had a lot of contacts in Law enforcement, and was due to give evidence as a witness in a Mafia linked plane-leasing fraud case later that year. Witness protection program ? His father did not allow the American flag to be draped on Elvis's coffin, as is usual for an army veteran, why ? Why is his middle name misspelt on his gravestone ? Presley had 3 Life Assurance policies running at the time of his death .. the two with Investment content were en-cashed, the 3rd, a Term Assurance policy, was never claimed, why ? An accredited Document examiner has given evidence that the name " Elvis Presley " written on Presley's death certificate, is in Elvis's own hand ... Elvis loved practical jokes ?

I'm partially kidding, but stranger things have happened ... 8-)

It is not so much the conspiracy theory that needs questioning so much as the official version of the truth. Jimmy Saville, Isaac Newton, the Big Bang, Everton being sound financially…

We live in a world where our beliefs change. We need to question everything we know. We learn more and we have to adapt. We shouldn’t be so smug in believing our world view is correct.
You are confusing beliefs and science.

Science progresses but much is established. Newtonian mechanics is still practical in every day life but Quantum Mechanics is now accepted on an atomic scale. There is method in science.

Beliefs often don't involve science and if they do they use it selectively. Religion is the obvious example.

We do not need to question everything we know. We could never live a fulfilling life if we did. If something works for you why stop doing it. We should still question some things, such as being told to question everything we know!

The Hitler escape theories were completely debunked once and for all 4/5 yrs ago I think , with the release of some old soviet /East German files. With the full trail of his initial burial , re-burial of the bones after autopsy /dental etc ,then final re-exhumation from under what was then a garage or similar in east Germany ,finally crushing and burning of the what remained to dust and scattered in the wind .
Been some great books about “ what if “ but he clearly committed suicide in the bunker . Can you imagine his terror of falling into the hands of the Russians as they entered Berlin ..

Hitler escaped to a secret tunnel hidden in the mountains above Berchtesgaden. After the hoo-ha died down, he bought a vineyard and started producing his own wine.

The Soviets found his charred remains when they got to the Reich Chancellery garden. It served their purposes to spin the myth about Hitler escaping Berlin and living in the 'fascist' West. Also, he was a shambling wreck by 1945, and wasn’t capable of going anywhere, never mind an attempt to breakthrough Soviet lines by traversing a bombed-out city with hand-to-hand fighting all around. Furthermore, Hitler sent most of his personal staff to the Obersalzberg before the Soviet encirclement. If he did indeed want to survive, he would have gone with them.

if you've read accounts of the Battle for Berlin, any attempts to get out once the Russians started attacking it would have been absolutely doomed to failure

They identified his body

They never identified Martin Boormans body btw, but its now accepted that he died attempting to escape

Just to add to these points, the idea that someone as universally recognisable as Hitler in 1945 would have first evaded capture and successfully escaped, and then remain hidden and escaped, is stretching things beyond credulity.

They found Himmler easily enough

Look, if Hitler had got out of Berlin, with the millions of displaced persons wandering across Europe in 1945, then its possible he might have disappeared if he'd kept a low profile and was content just to sit around somewhere and pretend to be a displaced refugee from East Prussia or the Sudentenland

But its Adolf Hitler, he would have headed for somewhere with Nazis already there (Argentina, Brazil, Egypt) and they would have recognised him and then he'd be sunk

But there is enough evidence of him being in Berlin in the final hours to completely debunk the idea that he managed to get out before the Russians encircled the city and systematically destroyed it as they fought their way towards the Reichstag

A lot of these more modern conspiracies seem to be being peddled by middle age right leaning types. It’s not what I would have once thought of the demographic of cynical sorts who think the government or big business has it in for us all. It makes me hanker for good old fashioned stuff like the Bermuda Triangle, UFO abductions or that we’ve evolved from space men who were here thousands of years ago.

The last sighting of Bormann was near the Lehrter station in the course of the breakout attempt on the 1st of May. His skull, including fragments of a cyanide vial, were found close by during construction work in 1972. In 1998, DNA testing confirmed the skull as that of Bormann.

We're going to see much more of this kind of thinking but also events being labelled as "conspiracy theories" that turn out to have large elements of truth in them.

All conspiracy theories have an element of truth to them. Take the Flat Earth, for example. There is an Earth.

A conspiracy is a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or illegal. So the big question is which group creates which conspiracy ? Left or Right and what is the real purpose of a conspiracy? To hide the truth or distract or expose ? Sort of like this post

With the access to a lot more information at our fingertips than ever before, its inevitable that conspiracy theories will absolutely be everywhere and there will always be just enough evidence to make them credible to someone with little or no knowledge of the subject

I would suggest that isn't good news

You're quite right.

How can anyone believe the conspiracy theory that on 9/11 three buildings collapsed due to planes and a fire.

If there is any proper conspiracy about anything it's going to be about something proper rubbish.
9/11, Roswell, Hitler being alive, Elvis being alive, Aliens building the pyramids - it's all too big.

The sun is probably only 5 light minutes away from the Earth, but Nasa are keeping it at 6 minutes because if they admit they were wrong then the morons will be out in force 'what else are they lying about?!'

NASA is lying to you because it takes about 8 and a half minutes for light to travel to the Earth from the sun ... 93 million miles at 186,250 miles per second is around 8.5 minutes 😉
