Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game
Got you, thanks chaps.
I’m not sure what to do. I was hoping they’d open up the longside and hire a few big screens. Thought that could’ve been really memorable.

Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game
We're not allowed to show the game within the stadium without Blackburn's permission as the home side and given how they have acted so far I can't imagine they'd give permission for that.
Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game

Is that right? It’s broadcast in TV isn’t it? I can’t see how it’s any of Rovers’ business whether we screen a game that’s otherwise televised?claretburns wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 11:34 amWe're not allowed to show the game within the stadium without Blackburn's permission as the home side and given how they have acted so far I can't imagine they'd give permission for that.

Think there’s only 10-12 of the long “bench tables” and it’s first come first servedQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 11:32 amIs the fanzone a free for all or can you book tables?

Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game
I am not sure why we're not allowed (the exact ruling behind it, hopefully someone can confirm this) but all I know is that if we want to show the game in the stadium (on a non home matchday) we need the home club's permission to do so.

Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game
Unless of course it's already being screened live on TV.
Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game
If its being played on large screens in the fanzone ... what is to stop BFC turning the North stand into one huge Fanzone with a couple of Large screens on the pitchclaretburns wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 2:22 pmI am not sure why we're not allowed (the exact ruling behind it, hopefully someone can confirm this) but all I know is that if we want to show the game in the stadium (on a non home matchday) we need the home club's permission to do so.

Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game
I imagine they don't want to expose the pitch to the hoards running onto it, celebrating

Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game
They’ve put some of the tables together now to form longer tables, but there’re more than 10-12 from memory.

Re: Fanzone for Blackburn game
There definitely wasn’t that many there for the Sheff Utd game but maybe that was as based on tickets sold prior to the day.Claretforever wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 3:40 pmThey’ve put some of the tables together now to form longer tables, but there’re more than 10-12 from memory.
Obviously this will be more in demand.
If they chuck in table service I might be tempted
