that's actually not correct. I listen to Keiran Maguire (or whatever he is called) and he was asked that question - he said whilst 'technically on paper" it is correct there is an agreement in place between the PL and EFL that any embargo's are honored - we need to get it sorted and we will

Think the PL would be in an incredibly difficult position if they sought to uphold an EFL sanction, when it was their own lack of action on Everton’s financial law breaking that caused our relegation in the first place.

But I agree, it’ll get sorted.

There were many reasons for our utter capitulation last season…. Everton being in contravention of FFP rules is so far down the list of excuses you’d need bino’s to see it.

no that's Alex Scott of Talksport. Keiran Maguire actually is an expert

Alex Scott was also the guy who said Josh Brownhill was going to West Ham on a free last summer (despite having 2 years left on his deal), Scott literally steals a living

Alex Scott is either a wonderful female pundit on BBC’s Football Focus or wonderfully talented 19 year old midfielder playing for Bristol City.

I think Alex Crook might be the one you are looking for.

Just for clarity Vegas. Keiran Maguire is a poser who went on talksport and massively misrepresented our situation leaning into us going down so as to align with the talksport party line of our club being in despair he is a self described expert and very quickly backtracked once the evidence of us paying the loan was revealed he has as much credibility as Alex Crook, not Alex Scott.

I reckon a few on here are more clued up than Kieran Maguire, aggi and Paul Waine for starters. He's not got a blemish free record and tends to just go with the prevailing wind.

Maguire seems to get more things wrong than right if you look at what he spouts on podcasts and on twitter.
I remember him being lauded as a football finance expert, but I reckon he spends more time deleting tweets than digging through companies House submissions these days
