I really don't think it was a deliberate dive nor was he claiming for a pen. Just fell over

Brownhill been really poor, way too deep and slow on the ball.
Just played 2 sublime passes, one of which should have resulted in a goal.

Teams have come and had a go and been blown away, we've just been off it tonight so far, we're definitely a better 2nd half team.
Don't think Sunderland have come and had a go, it's been a much more balanced and varied performance from them compared to a lot of visitors this season. They're pressing much better than I've seen on the Turf. We've still had the better chances and will probably come out on top, it's just rare to see an away side play as well as this this season.

Brownhill so far off it touches poor, passing backwards constantly.
He has done a few good bits, working hard and broke up play a few times, also that ball to Barnes was outstanding.

Agree to disagree but for me Tella puts his leg into the Sunderland defender rather than the defender blocking Tella, the movement Tella does is not a natural movement, he was looking for it.

What a move that was. For all the correct comments re a bit of a sluggish performance from us, we've still been head and shoulders above a good Sunderland side.

Question to all of you knowledgeable people ; Has the Spurs VK talk upset 1 or 2 players and is it possible there might be an Etihad hangover ?

No, been much the better side. Sunderland just haven't been as overwhelmed and rolled over as readily as some visitors to Turf Moor.

Why? Because it's only nil nil? Tough first half but still played the most fluid football and had by far and away the best chances.

Picked it up towards the end of that second half. Come back out like that it we should break the deadlock before too long.

We really should be ahead, however Sunderland have made it tough, and they've asked questions of Muric.

Not unduly worried though as we'll kick on 2nd half no doubt.

We're easily the better side but they've done pretty well by not giving us time to play it around at the back like we prefer to do.

Decent half. Sunderland looking well organized and threatening. Playing out the back seems to be more risk than reward but we've created the far best chances. Think we wear them down in the second half and get a couple of goals.

He isn't scoring that many, to be fair, but his off the ball work and some of his passing has been very good. Think he is brining more positives than negatives right now.

1st half up at their place we had a mare and went 2-0 down
Then we came out 2nd half and won 4-2 and I expect them to tire such that I expect us to win this

Some moronic decisions from the ref tonight. How isn't that O'Nien challenge on Tella in the first half a booking but Cullen gets one for that?
