Re: Today's Football 01/04
Fresh angle proves MacAtee was NOT offside. Since Sharp has come on and hit the post and Baldock hit the outside of the same post with the follow up.
Norwich very powder puff up front. Not a shot on target yet.

They just showed another view. You may very well be right. Nowhere near as clear cut as I thought. Would have to involve those annoying lines we will be seeing next year.Roosterbooster wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 4:25 pmI'm not sure. Haven't seen a side on view, but Hanley could be keeping him on. McAtee thought he was off though by his reaction - didn't even celebrate, was expecting the flag to go up

Boro on 67pts with 7 games left
- if we beat them they can only get to 85pts
- we will be on 87pts
Luton play Millwall away earlier in the day
- if they don't win, they can only get to 86pts

Settle for these scores remaining as they are, it'll make the final weeks a lot easier to enjoy.

Re: Today's Football 01/04
Middlesbrough's defending today, well in this 2nd half as been shocking.
Huddersfield defence also as poor as it was at Turf Moor.
All eyes on the early kick off on Good Friday, Millwall v Luton.
Unless Boro get 3 in the last few minutes.

Rovers losing but as it stands none of their play-off rivals taking advantage.nil_desperandum wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 4:49 pmCould really do with Norwich getting something to put pressure on our neighbours down the road. Doesn't seem likely though.
Norwich losing,
Coventry Losing.
Baggies and Millwall drawing.

Swansea winning the derby 3-2 in the 99th minute. The stuff dreams are made of.

Re: Today's Football 01/04
I was just thinking the same. A lot of fan-trouble history in this (south Wales derby) fixture; losing in the 9th minute of added time when team is scratching around for points to avoid relegation is likely to inflame some.

Re: Today's Football 01/04
Today's results mean the West Ham-Saints match tomorrow now involves the bottom 2.
Everton also back in the bottom 3 as they don't play Spurs until Monday evening.
Bournemouth and Palace the big movers, and Bournemouth's home form just might be enough to save them against the odds.
Could be a lot of nervous managers over the next few weeks, Moyes and Rodgers especially should be fearing for their futures.

Re: Today's Football 01/04
That could definitely be on the cards now, their form has been dreadful for months and Huddersfield are showing plenty of fight
Indeed that Huddersfield victory has suddenly thrust several teams in trouble even the likes of Reading can't be totally secure, especially with the lingering threat of points deductions floating about.
The bottom 2 look dead, but that 3rd place is difficult to call now.

Re: Today's Football 01/04
Yes that last gasp Palace goal has pushed Leicester down to 18th, mind you one win for anyone down there and they could jump 3-4 places that's how tight it still is.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 5:25 pmIt's Leicester third bottom, tiger.
Dirty Leeds now only one point outside the drop zone after their battering at Arsenal.
Palace with their fixtures should have more than enough to pull clear, but any of the rest are most certainly still in grave danger.

Dortmund nightmare. Long through ball from Bayerns half for Sane. Keeper comes out of area, there was no need, and plays an air shot. Ball trundles through into the net. GOAL.
Re: Today's Football 01/04
Chelsea look so poor at the back. 1-0 Villa.

Bayern 3-0 up against Dortmund after 24 mins, ripping them apart.

If Roy saves Palace will that be the renaissance of the "Old school manager"?
