Assuming that you're using the app then click on the grey button that looks like 3 dots joined together That's the typical internet symbol for when you can share something. (To the right of the green What's App image in the picture attached )
Once you click on that then there's typically various options, one of which is usually "copy" or "copy link'

That screenshot, an article about bankruptcy, immediately underneath it, a casino advert. This is the world we live in.

Got to feel for the lad ... I hope it serves as a warning to others ...

He was a fantastic player and is proving to be a fantastic coach.
Wish him all the best.

Re: Craig Bellamy
There's more than enough money sloshing around football to pay for the resources needed to implement the sort of support structures that would guard against players being exploited in the way Bellamy has. Literally have a bloke turn up at every single league club once a year to do a powerpoint presentation informing players of the difference between a shark and an actual financial advisor bound by law to certain fiduciary duties, and open up some channels of communication through the players' union should any wish to talk about this with an advisor.

Re: Craig Bellamy
I wasn't implying he did. He merely put too much trust in all the wrong people. It's still absurd that an article whose meta-narrative effectively moralises about financial prudence has a casino advert directly underneath it. It's the absurdity of the placement of the advert that I'm remarking on, not Bellamy's situation.

Very true.
But those adverts for casinos will be related to the person who took the screenshot. And not Craig Bellamy.
I know this because being a boring 43 year old, the only adverts I get are for Screwfix and Viagra

Re: Craig Bellamy
He is a fantastic coach and was a great player too. I feel for him, but I know he’ll be fine. I have had nothing. Absolutely nothing left at one point in my life and built myself back up to where I am now. It’s almost like an epiphany, having nothing. Makes you know what actually is important in life. I suspect this is why he is now a fantastic coach.
We are blessed to have him with us

Re: Craig Bellamy
Just goes to show that this promotion will feel fantastic for us fans but what it means for some of these guys who have been on journeys can be unbelievable in comparison. Not just Bellamy but he is a great example. I’m so pleased for them (once we get it done).
But on the wider point, our financial education by schools to kids in this country is woefully short, arguably the most crucial school skill of all, it leads to these problems even if this is an extreme case, but that is a whole new discussion.

Re: Craig Bellamy
He won't be the first & he won't be the last I'm not sure much can be done the flowers of common sense don't grow in everybody's garden that said I hope he gets things sorted as I think deep down he's a genuine nice bloke & doesn't deserve all this crap for a few bad decisions he's made in his younger days.
Re: Craig Bellamy
Can’t just all be down to a string of bad luck one after the other. I am sure there are other versions of all these events. I can believe he was misled in some aspects though. I know of an ex footballer who just did everything the agent told him and in matters the agent knew nothing about. I think they can be controlling and manipulative and are leeches in the game. Too easy to become bankrupt imo. With a few years of BFC salaries he will no doubt be a millionaire again and be able to service some debts that he owes but they’ll be written off and someone somewhere will lose what they are rightfully owed.

Re: Craig Bellamy
I recall that article about Bellamy, how hard he works and his spartan existence. The first paragraph describes the reporter being shown into Bellamy's 'rented apartment. He opens the door and shows me in. The sitting room is spartan. No pictures, no decorations, no fuss, no mess. Clear, clean surfaces, two sofas, a flat-screen television on the wall.
'I'd offer you tea or coffee or some food,' Bellamy says cheerfully, as he stares out at the red tail lights of the Manchester traffic crawling through the darkness below, 'but I haven't got anything.'
It's the same author......

All young footballers should be made to read and understand that article. Harsh world for the naive. So glad he's with us and on the road to better times.

Very brave of him to come out in public with that.
Tough read.
Hopefully young players will read it and take his advice.
It really is a financial jungle out there.
Well Done CB.
