Sliding doors moments. Plenty of chances it could’ve been us. But for good managerial appointments and a bit of luck.

Essentially yes it's just not had a sponsor for a few years now.

Re: Ten years ahead….
I say yes, time to put bad blood between our neighbours and us to bed. It’s about time we could go to a match and enjoy the banter without animosity between us all.RammyClaret61 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 12:32 pmAlso time to let go any dislike of Blackburn Rovers?

Re: Ten years ahead….
It's a fixture where my 'obsession ' makes it difficult to decide who I'd like to win this one.
Re: Ten years ahead….
Listening to VK it sounds as if we are 2-3 years ahead of a 3-4 year plan to return us to the top flight

Re: Ten years ahead….
Yep. A fixture and occasion many fans still recall fondly 35 years ( ).
The game today was a big following unsurprisingly. But unbelievable to see it was the highest gate in Europe. 80,000 on. Incredible really.

Owen Coyle. Well it was good while it lasted. But I we’ve come on a tad since then. Don’t you think?

Re: Ten years ahead….
On 5 year plans or 10 year plans.. or being years ahead as you often hear pundits say, I'm always a bit sceptical.
Liverpool were apparently 'light years' ahead of Man Utd last season. They're 8 points behind them this season. The right manager and a couple of inspired signings and any gap can vanish in a year. There's many a Claret who can remember growing up thinking we'd never play the B**tards again, let alone dominate them as we have, but that will swing round again one day too.
Anyway, well done to Bolton, can't begrudge them that yesterday.
