It's telling that Yorkshire have been deemed so poor, they're only allowed to play Towns and Cities now, rather than Counties. Seems fair enough to me.

I've no doubt that jdrobbo and dande will be at the game with their white rose flag having resided in the county for most of their lives, proper committed these 2 lads.

Milltown went last year to cheer the Yorkies on as well, so you won't be alone Shappie.

After a couple of ( cheap) tickets for finals day if anybody can’t go now. Went last year and it was an amazing day even though we lost :(

I’m going tomorrow, looking forward to the arduous 15 minute walk to the ground!

All four teams tomorrow looking in good shape for the season. Looking like 19 degrees and sunny all day so hopefully will get a full days play in despite the rain today.

If you keep an eye out on edgbaston ticket exchange the prices do tend to fluctuate and you can pick up a bargain through the summer.

Only single tickets available but I’m keeping my eye out on Twickets. Managed to get them from there last year.

Ah…. The internet is back on in Bury….. been down for a long, long time recently.

I’ve lived out of the country for longer than I lived in Yorkshire….. but boundaries, like your cricket team, haven’t ever really been a strength…. Earby (Lancs), Bury (Lancs)….. message ends

It’s an opening day double header, purely to promote and kickstart the tournament.

Between 6/7 a pint. Better off having a couple in the bar next to the ground before.

Poor fielding.

3 or 4 dropped catches and an easy run-out missed

Lancashire fielding like a lower league side…. As good at catching as Bairstow behind the stumps.
