Jude Bellingham
100 Million plus add ons all agreed to Real Madrid, good move for him and England
Re: Jude Bellingham
This is why football is a joke. Sooner somebody gets the superleague idea back up and running the better. Let's get rid of these money rich clubs and get back to a fair play system ..If there is one.

No need to worry, all of this money will inevitably cause a financial vacuum and we will all be able to enjoy watching each of these 'super rich' clubs implode.

After last Sundays Vinicius incident I’m surprised any player of colour would want to go to that country until they solve the problem.

If that figure is correct, it is a steal. (Using the benchmark of Pogba at £90m and Neymar at £200m +)

What problem? A few pricks out of 50-60,000? Why would any player ‘of colour’ want to come to England after a few dickheads abused saka after the 2020 euros?Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 11:28 pmAfter last Sundays Vinicius incident I’m surprised any player of colour would want to go to that country until they solve the problem.

It’ll be a long time before it’s solved in Spain unfortunately

Now, if he’d refuse the move and reveal the reason to be Spains recent issues with race and the lack of any significant steps to deal with it, now that really WOULD be something…
Anyway, fantastic talent, absolutely top class footballer.

They have some of the most racist fans in Europe and a gutless football authority who won't act to stamp out abuse.

Still fair play to you, I know nothing at all about american football so would never be brave enough to join a forum a repeatedly post things displaying this lack of knowledge, you don't let that stop you with football so fair play

Re: Jude Bellingham
So in spite of Vinnie signing a new 5 year contract it looks like he's chosen the money, glamour and prestige over the honour and privilege of doning the famous claret and blue.
Well each to his own. I just hope he doesn't live to regret it.
We move on to the next target. Declan Rice anyone?

Re: Jude Bellingham
You have to remember that Bellingham is 19 and is already asserting himself as a dominant player in centre midfield, which is arguably the hardest position on the park.
His tenacity, dribbling/ ball carrying skills are very, very good
Is he still a little raw? Yeah but he’s going to learn off Ancelotti and will be playing/learning off Valverde, Kroos /Modric (depending on if they stay) - which is only good news not only for Jude but for England

I'm sorry but for all of Alan Pace's talk of backing Kompany in the transfer window, why were we not even in the picture for signing this lad. Real lack of ambition.

For Englands sake I just hope he plays every week, not guaranteed at a club like that. Although watching Madrid v City, I don't think there is too much risk even if he has tough spell.

Southgate wanted another tournament because of this kid, Bellingham will win us the next one (obviously with a bit of help from the others).

Re: Jude Bellingham
How is he still only 19 - it feels like he's been around for ages already?! What a talent this boy is. We should be building the England team around him - he's that good! I can't understand anyone saying he's average... that's just baffling. Had we pulled off his signature I would have happily said we'd finally replaced John Deary
