Heap family in the runs ...

Ben gets 81 at Liverpool Road, and daughter Liberty 46 in a Lancashire Thunder win over the Sunrisers at Old Trafford ...

Colne 2nds beat Walsden by 1 wicket in a bit of a nailbiter. Was hard work trying to watch the finish of this and the penalties at Wembley at the same time!

You have it easy. I was watching the penalties, watching the cricket, and cooking a roast lamb dinner!

I believe the standard response to this sort of post is ....

" If the mods banned everything that was not strictly related to Burnley FC, then the board would be a much duller place. If you're not interested in a topic, then don't view the thread "

I can think of absolutely no reason to stop anyone posting about Lancs League cricket or any cricket or any sport for that matter. I seem to recall a few years ago (prior to the league expansion) we established that there were supporters of 13 of the 14 clubs who posted on here with East Lancs the exception. We even have players and ex-players posting on here.

Personally, I was brought up watching cricket in this league for years and years. I don’t go now, although I’m expecting to go to a game this year, but still have a big interest in the league.

Correct. Lowerhouse didn’t win anything from 1862 to 2004. It’s honours even from 2004 onwards though if you put all cups and leagues together.

With the inbuilt advantage of revenue from Car Parking and Bar Sales from BFC games, there is an argument that you've massively under-achieved over the past 20 years, not withstanding your notable contribution to the National side ... 8-)

Lights blue touch paper and retires 10 yards ...

Without that income they'd be in trouble. Barely anybody goes to watch them these days.
