I went for Huddersfield. Possibly not the best but for me the most important as it showed we’d played a blinder getting Vinny in.

The significance of the win at Boro' will have it as favourite I think but for me QPR away was total dominance and with the special celebration with the manager after JBG's free kick it gets my vote.

I went for Middlesbrough because away to a side desperately needing points who believed themselves to be (since Carrick) the best in the division, and it was comfortable. Sunderland nearly got the vote but it was only half a performance!

QPR & Norwich were the big wins, Sunderland was an amazing second half, Huddersfield was difficult to take in given we'd no idea what was coming, and then there was Middlesbrough. Any of those for me and eventually I went for QPR because I thought we were sensational that day.

Wigan away - after that match I was on the phone with a friend where I declared we were going to win the league. I'd seen enough even if the results where flakey

I almost went for QPR as I turned up that day extremely nervous and came away having watched us play them off the park without ever giving them a serious kick of the ball and"comfortable"doesn't even come close to describing it. However I had to go for the Boro game. The pressure was on, the finishing line was within touching distance and we had to go to a serious promotion rival who were in excellent form and deal with a massive crowd and a cauldron atmosphere and we did it with aplomb!!! We really should have won by more and the relief and the celebrations at the end will live very, very long in the memory!

I went for QPR. First game back after the World Cup and I was worried that maybe the break would cause us to loose momentum. I needn’t have worried! Nearly went for Sunderland but I don’t think you can ignore the fact we were poor in the first half.

I went for Wigan. I was convinced I’d seen something that day. And it was a mauling.

From what I saw on TV abroad half asleep it had to be Sunderland for the comeback.

Sunderland 2nd half was incredible in the away end, but I've gone for Middlesbrough

Winning promotion in our closest challengers back yard and the celebrations afterwards are hard to top

Went for the F A Cup win at Bournemouth. Had it in my mind that Sunderland away had to be the one but I recall how disappointed I was at half time. No such disappointment on the south coast and a victory against a Premier league team, losing a key player too, has to take the award.

Boro by a mile. They were in great form and thought they could break the top 2 but we controlled the game from start to finish and deservedly sealed promotion. That game was the real measure of how good we were last season.

Wigan by miles.

In a ground where I haven't seen us score in 4 visits, never mind win. To score 5 there on a lovely sunny day with a big Clarets vocal following. Superb.

This was the day the Nathan Tella baby chant was born.

If it was half of the season then it is Sunderland away no doubt, but for complete performance I went for Norwich away.

Bournemouth for me. We pretty much controlled it from start to finish and I think they had only made one change from their previous Premier League match.

Swansea on 2nd Jan - we weathered the storm for a significant period of the game by a very good footballing side. In the end they ran out of steam and we secured a valuable 3 points.

Boro for me, all the pressure, against a form team and we were miles better than them

To borrow from and paraphrase our ex-boss:

Looking back at our away wins it's great to see that we found so many ways to win. Some clubs held back, others came at us, some tried to kick us, some wasted time...

And nearly all of them were swatted away. It's a hodgepodge of brilliance.

Boro for all aforementioned reasons but those away victories over the Xmas / New Year period where we really had to battle it out showed we had the mettle (which some doubted) and not just the ability to get out of this league - big hard fought wins at Stoke and Swansea in a busy schedule in the winter. That was when I knew we were going to do this.

Boro for me also. Couldn't vote for Sunderland as for 45 minutes we were awful or where we won the league as it was dross apart from the goal and party.

The manner of performance that night, the way we shut the home crowd up and sealing promotion was a top performance. We had a spare ticket for this and took a Man Utd season ticket holder with us, he said that night I wish we could play out from the back like you do.

Boro for me. Between that and Norwich. Norwich had that new manager bounce, had just scored 8 goals in two games and we had some illness/injury in camp, plus a debut for a new cb - to then outplay them in the manner we did was amazing. But I just edged for Boro for the same reasons as mentioned by claretonthecoast above - I’ll add that they hadn’t lost a game at home under Carrick before that and I thought, even though they looked good at times, we handled the game and occasion brilliantly. Both goals were really nicely worked and our full back stroking home from 5 yards summed up the season.

I voted Boro. Thought we were excellent that night, in a game where we should have been feeling the pressure. Top performance.
