England: Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook, Ben Stokes (c), Jonny Bairstow (wk), Stuart Broad, Matthew Potts, Josh Tongue, Jack Leach.

Ireland: James McCollum, PJ Moor, Andy Balbirnie (capt), Harry Tector, Paul Stirling, Lorcan Tucker (wk), Curtis Campher, Andy McBrine, Mark Adair, Fionn Hand, Graham Hume.

I heard one bit of clarets related news today. One of the Test Match Special summarisers, Alex Hartley, confirmed that she is a Burnley fan, albeit a partially lapsed one.

She is from Clitheroe - went to Ribblesdale School. Has mental health problems I believe. Best wishes to her.

She's from Read I think. Certainly started her cricket career there.

Just looked at this and spotted that her Dad is David Hartley - Is this the same David Hartley who played in our 1968 Youth Cup winning team?

Would explain the Burnley connection.

Yes she is from Read. She played for Clitheroe before joining Middlesex.

I've read that England have targeted 500 runs in a day, at drinks, half way through Day 2, they are 225/1 for the day ..

Yes, Johnny Abrahams did similar in a 1 day final for Lancs but notwithstanding was given man of the Match!
