After what, in the main, had been a very poor couple of decades from the mid/late 1970s I think that on reflection, this appointment set the ball rolling towards the phenomenal times we're currently enjoying.
Stan is doubtlessly one of my favourite ever BFC managers and we were certainly just about to embark on a very interesting few years!
Looking forward to this feature.
