Booking a tennis court

Post by up_the_clarets_1989 » Sat Jun 03, 2023 9:13 am

After all the investment in the local tennis courts you apparently now need to book to be able to play. Does anyone know how you actually do this? It ss seems like you have to sign up to become an LTA member but that is impossible as their website doesn't work properly.

Thanks

Have you tried contacting the local tennis club?

Padiham ones looked lovely this morning.

The gates are now locked there’s a sign though on the gates with how to book etc …

… about time some investment was done on the courts, tempted to get the racket out not played in years.

Glad the Padiham ones have been done up. They were free to use for years though.

Look mint, like someone else says though, they need to be free and available unfortunately they’d get ruined and overrun with gangs of kids so you’d never get a slot.

Think there’s only a couple now, can’t remember if they’re still clay or not

Cheers for all the replies. Tried ringing around to book the Padiham courts but nobody seemed to know how to do it. Ended up just going down and although there is a keypad on the door it wasn't set up yet so still just free to use. Brilliant courts. Will definitely pay to use those in the future.
