Mastic Man for Bathroom/Kitchen

Post by Jjjack » Thu Jun 08, 2023 11:29 am

Does anybody have any recommendations for somebody who does siliconing. Need to redo the bathroom and kitchen and after a couple goes I'm just not good at it. Thanks.

Hi. I used to be crap at it But I bought the tool shown in this video and can do it just as good or probably better than most of the plumbers I’ve ever used. There are cheaper versions on Amazon but I’ve got this one

A plumber does pluming, a mastic person does mastic!

Watching a professional mastic person at work is very therapeutic, it’s like an art.

To answer the OP, I’ve used North West Sealants with very good results in the past. Circa 2015 I think.

They’re based in Bamber Bridge but one of their lads at the time lived in Burnley and nipped round to my house after work.

We’d just had new flooring in the bathroom and he did the mastic around the skirting boards, toilet and sink base for £20, even supplying the sealant himself.

Dead easy to use with outstanding results.
