Epos till system

Post by longside72 » Fri Jun 09, 2023 8:17 am

Has anyone got advice for which company to use for an Epos till system, We are opening a clothing and accesories shop and getting 20- 30 phone calls / emails per day off different companies trying to sell us their product. Thanks in advance.

No specfic advice but I would urge you to read any small print carefully. Where I work, we get at least one charleton a week walking in promising the earth if we switch. All bullshitters

I’d personally make a list of pros and cons and weigh up if it’s actually worth doing?!?

In catering it’s perfect as you can take orders that are automatically sent to the bar/kitchen/till is covers a lot of leg work to take handwritten checks here and there.

Not sure how it would work in that kinda business. But I’ve no experience in it.

I have a epos system - Epos now. Its very easy to use, maintain, update etc.
Think it costs £40 month ( approx ) brilliant service if we ever need it.
I'm away for a short while, but can give you a demo when I return.

I used to work for Payment Sense.
They are a decent company if they don't do EPOS directly, they will have partners who do.

Where are you opening, what kind of style are you selling, what is your price point?
Not trying to sell you anything, just interested in your offering.

Shopify do an epos system linked to a website. Handles all stock control etc and can run on a tablet.
