Any motorcyclists on here?
Ok, a bit of a random query for a footy message board but as there are some very knowledgeable folk on a wide range of topics on here thought I'd ask
Anyone recognise and/or know anything about this brand of motorbike leathers?
Logo seems to read ASHV, (could be an abbreviation maybe?)
I've tried Google lens and a general google search but can't seem to find any exact matches- nearest is Ash Gee.

Maybe we could organise a ride out of claret bikers.
Pre ride sight tests would be mandatory though.

Can-Am Spyder F3-S and Buell Ulysses at home. Yamaha SCR950, KTM 390 Duke and Yamaha Aerox 155 in Thailand. Yes, I know one is a three-wheeler and another is a scooter.

Re: Any motorcyclists on here?
The appeal of open countryside summer riding became too much so took up motorcycling up when I reached 60 .
Ride a basic, bullet proof Bandit 650 - I’m a fair weather rider only.

Re: Any motorcyclists on here?
I was on that trip, I rode a GS1200. I’m a bit skint at the moment so I’m down to a Vespa GTR 300 and an SWM 650 R…..which is basically a Husky 630.
The SWM is very handy off road. The scooter is great for nipping through traffic.

Re: Any motorcyclists on here?
Thinking about the sat nav thread I recently invested in a quad lock mobile phone cradle with the shock absorber and wireless charger attachment. Expensive but really good quality bit of kit that, in conjunction with my iPhone, is far cheaper than a motorcycle sat nav. Connected to my Cardo Bluetooth headset.

I was on that too. Persisted it down unfortunately but still a memorable ride.
Sadly, I have been told that one of the riders who was on it has since passed away.
I was on the gixxer. There were some photos taken. Has anyone got any?

I've got a Kawasaki ER-6f, riding it over to Genk next weekend with my dad on his KTM 790S.

Same here, I bought a 300 ninja in 2015 and had that for 4 years before having to give up riding for a while. This is my first big bike, it is restricted at the moment but I'm hoping to do my test next spring but its a brilliant bike so far, really looking forward to stretching its legs.

Do any of you use a camera when riding and if so which one? I'm looking into getting one but finding it a bit of a minefield when looking at anything that isn't a GoPro.

Re: Any motorcyclists on here?
I use a Sena 10c pro. Was great when I first got it. Good quality video, recorded sound so you could commentate on your rides if you were recording for YouTube. Also connected to phone so you could take phone calls whilst you ride and could connect to other riders as a communication device.
Wasn’t cheap and is not currently working like it should. Need to check the memory card hasn’t corrupted, and I have a new set of wiring for inside the helmet for the mic and headphones to try. Might get round to sorting it one of these days.

Re: Any motorcyclists on here?
This was my last bike, a Suzuki GSXR600.
Painted it myself whilst I was going through one of my loud phases.
Parked it up in Burnley once and came bike to find a note attached to it which read "Why don't you emigrate?"
I did, to London

I saw that parked on Harry Potts Way about 20 years ago. I told my lad the paint job must have cost a fortune, it looked like a pro job.Croydon Claret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 19, 2023 9:14 pmThis was my last bike, a Suzuki GSXR600.

Re: Any motorcyclists on here?
That's very kind of you.
The design came to me in a weird dream, that only bikers can have
I used to work part time in a body shop as my mate was the foreman. He taught me all the techniques and I only had to pay the owner for the cost of the materials.
Started out by painting it all white, then marked it all out with fine line masking tape, and sprayed each colour one by one.
Think it took about 100 hours from memory
