Send in the Clowns. If that isn't suitable music for the team to come out to, I don't know what is.

William Tell Overture (Lone Ranger theme)

I like the horse element, but Benny Hill theme might be more musically appropriate.

Glen is a knob.
He has a dossier of all the things Venkys have done to the club he loves that would rock the world, yet he hasn't felt the need to release it as he is giving the Venkys another chance. He is one of the biggest attention seeking bellends they have. He is like a poor mans Wayne Wild another who hated what the Venkys had done and withdrew his sponsorship from the club but then somehow following a palm greasing episode went quiet.
I reckon they are 2 - 3 early defeats away from a boycott.

Apparently their no.1 keeper, Kaminski is on his way to Luton for a knock down fee with no replacement on the horizon. Suggestions that there's a fire sale starting.

They've been out of the top flight for a decade now. How has Venky's not stabilised the finances yet? What is the money being spent on (apart from buying mediocre seasons in level two)?

Their wage bill continues to exceed income and that’s why they continue to lose money which the Venkys keep covering
There’s no reason for them to still have a wage bill exceeding income

I do hope the gobsh**es they have who enjoyed our ticket allocation are the same ones now crying that the money has stopped being pumped in by the amount they would like from the owners they have never shown any appreciation to for keeping them going.
Hopefully admin then relegation follow, I like the idea of a few thousand cuts rather than a sudden swift end for them.

Funny how they were singing Steve Waggott's praises when he was the one who helped to restrict our ticket allocation, now they want him out. Probably could've done with that extra money now, eh lads?

Re: Venkys
Their squad is tiny and it's a lot of kids. They look like one of the favourites to go down but then I thought that this time last summer. Still sort of flabbergasted they had the season they did. JDT pulled off a minor miracle getting that squad as high as he did. Their best season in years. And still the fans didn't turn up and constantly grumbled about him.

Re: Venkys
let's face it we have been hoping for their demise for as long as most of us have been alive and it has never happened. It looked like they may suffer our fate of the 80's when they went down to league 1 a few years back but all that happened is they had a fun season getting promoted. They now look like they are closer to going up under their manager than they are to going down.
Just can't get too excited over any of this especially considering our comical (for their POV) start to the season.

Lots of worried horse fiddlers, the majority assume when the Venkys go everything will be fine, someone else will buy them and the debt and make them massive

Must have been a different Rovers that were tonked 3-0 by Plymouth at the weekend. They probably won’t go down but I’m pretty sure they aren’t going up either. Nothing to get too excited but, even though they’re too thick to see it, Venky’s are bankrolling them at the min and there’s been a few ‘goings on’ in the background that are certainly of interest.Goobs wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 10:26 pmlet's face it we have been hoping for their demise for as long as most of us have been alive and it has never happened. Re: Venkys
Not saying they will go up but as things stand I think they will easily be top half. Also we got tonked at Sheff U last year and steamrolled the league so 1 result means very little in the grand scheme and Plymouth look a decent outfit from what I have seen who are probably still riding the high of getting promoted.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 10:39 pmMust have been a different Rovers that were tonked 3-0 by Plymouth at the weekend.
