This message board can be so good at times then at other times I think it is fair to say it's not very good at all.

In the last week, we've seen two examples of when it can be very good.

Firstly, we had Jjjack organising the coach in Genk to get Burnley fans from the station to the stadium and back. Then, there were the offers of support for BurnleyMickSouth and the efforts some went to to ensure he was safe and well, particularly Tsarbomba. It showed how good a community this can be. I was overwhelmed at the number of emails I was receiving too as the concern grew.

All I ask is that we try to keep the board this way, where people show each other some respect. It really does make for a much better place.

Again - my thanks to Jjjack and to Tsarbomba and to everyone who got involved in such a positive way.

This board is at its best when you see the likes of Jjjack organising the coach travel in Belgium ... and the way everyone rallied to BurnleyMickSouth at the weekend...

Its also when threads to make people smile come up ... and the photo threads of our glorious countryside we live in.

UTC is a hub for getting folk together and chatting ... helping each other and advice on problems ...

People have varying opinions on stuff and that's human nature. Doesn't mean one is right and another is wrong. Just a different way of seeing things and that's never more evident than when it comes to football and footballers. We should all remember that and we should also all remember that the one opinion we do all share is a love of Burnley FC.

But the thing is people don't seem to agree what constitutes the things you have mentioned. Some people (not all thankfully) have it on their minds that the slightest thing you say could constitute the 4 things you have mentioned & it's subject to interpretation, it's almost as if some people are purposefully looking for trouble & finding reasons to be offended.
