Yeah I watched the interview and thought that. Wonder why announcement took so long? As he was clearly talking about it having been done and completed and that was a couple of weeks back. It matters not I suppose. Really happy he is here.

Been reported that it was connected with any potential wage should he go back at any point. I think we've done a similar deal with Man City for Trafford. That took a while but was ongoing while he was away with England.

A lot of people have been getting concerned at the time this was taking but I had none at all although I didn't expect it at 9:30 on a Tuesday night.

There may be a cost but it’s being used in parody so they’re not breaking any copyright rules etc
More than a few people on twitter were adamant the club would get in trouble

It was the Shrek video for Foster that caught the attention of the official Universal Pictures studio twitter account and they called it a “W announcement video”

Unbelievable transfer window so far!
It’s staggering to see how far the club has come when you consider it wasn’t that long ago that we were betting the ranch with signing Chris Eagles and co in the hope that we might have a shot at promotion.
Meanwhile down the road at the chicken fiddlers they have been busy stripping away assets in the vein hope of covering their astronomical losses and decreased income from India! Oh how the tables have turned!
