Some quality but not the stars the previous generations had at their disposal. As in England imports are robbing young talent of top league experience.

Where as I think England have the most talented squad of my lifetime. No issues with the lads that will play lacking game time that I can see.

Can’t argue with your point but there will be even more out there that never play in the PL because of the pre-eminence of overseas talent.
Germany until fairly recently has been an internal talent league. As more and more foreigners take starting positions the national team has gone backwards.

I don’t think it’s that deep - all the big clubs, Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke - have a long history of blooding young German players and still do. I just don’t think the same quality is coming through or, of the ones that are making it, they just don’t seem to be firing at the moment, e.g. Havertz.

It's stange. The Germans are known for being so clinical, like a well oiled machine but they are miles off it at the minute as are Italy and Spain. Having said that, watching the game against Ukraine yesterday. So are England.
