I didn't think the lino flagged ? I've not seen it back mind youSuperjohnnyfrancis wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 11:10 pmCan’t have been watching the game then as the Lino flagged for offside. Probably watching porn on his phone or something.
Sounds like the var room needs monitoring as well as the match

I think it's fanciful optimism expecting the complaints to stop. Good post by the way.Middle-agedClaret wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 10:56 pmI can only hope that the Liverpool decisions today may stop some of our fans permanently whinging on about “corrupt” officials making judgements deliberately to our detriment, while bleating about every advantage being given to a “big” club.
People make mistakes.

Agree with this, it's not the first big decision Darren England has made as VAR. It's time for him to be binned.Leyland Claret wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:24 pmThat’ll be Darren England in the VAR room again….heads have got to roll
The weekly apologies for VAR f***k up's is surely an embarrassment for PGMOL and football generally.

With VAR, you can have all the technology in the world but if you have idiot’s operating it then it’s always going to be a farce.

The assistant flagged for offside so if VAR wasn't used it would make no difference. VAR was brought in to prevent such errors and it failed here.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:18 pmPGMOL admit they were wrong with the offside goal
time to disconnect the ******* thing
Interesting the Jota sending off. His first yellow was 'bought' by Udogie when he tripped over his own legs deliberately without any contact. Of course Jota was stupid to earn the second yellow.
The Spurs Liverpool game was looking to be a top match before the red card as both sides were playing some really neat football. Spurs do have some tidy players but they also have some cheats amongst them, notably Udogie, Bissouma and of course Madison who also tried to referee the match (Richarlson does not seem to be among them these days as he appears to have cleaned up his game - well done to him).
Re: Today's Football
Zaroury red card, did he mean it, or was he done for pace? Anyone who has played football....!! Yellow at best?
The Liverpool first red card, did he mean it or was he done by a round ball meaning his foot and studs made connection above the ankle and probably hurt? Anyone who has played football......!! Yellow at best?
I tend to think of these regular events this season with Claret n Blue eyes... if that had been Jack Cork making that tackle would he have been sent off? Of course he would. Red Card sorted. !! UTC

I played in the LOW but the number of yellows and reds I got I doubt I'm the best for advice.vinrogue wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2023 12:04 pmZaroury red card, did he mean it, or was he done for pace? Anyone who has played football....!! Yellow at best?

Re: Today's Football
Fans should never taunt Vardy. I was at Leicester last week and Bristol City fans started chanting his wife was a slag. He scored soon after and went straight over to these fans. From Vardy's gesture today when scoring the second, its obvious the Rovers fans had been doing just that too
Re: Today's Football
Rovers currently 2 points off relegation place and 12 points off automatic promotion place.

Re: Today's Football
another game another VAR mistake - how did Brentford not get a pen when the Forest keeper booted Wissa ? it's about as clear and obvious a miss as you will see
